The Lost Generation Trailers

Heavily influenced by true events of occupy movements and protests across the world over the past 3 years, The Lost Generation portrays a very entertaining yet relevant depiction of our current media and society. We are invited to follow reality TV star SJ - the inspirational female lead, on an epic fight for survival in a dystopian presentation of our present-day world.

Terrible acting, screenplay and direction.

Good start, but then it gets ruined

It’s fine. It's literally the definition of a fine movie. You’ve seen it before, you know every beat and outcome before the characters even do. Only question is how much escapism you’re looking for.

Story: It's very simple but honestly that is fine.

Although the premise of this movie (girl enters game show and must fight to the death) was promising and the plot rather reminiscent of The Hunger Games, its shoddy camera work, terrible sound track and unattractive characters made it entirely unappealing. It was impossible to watch even half of this atrocious film. The main character (SJ) lacks even basic intelligence or charm (or in fact any desirable character trait at all), and yet the audience is clearly meant to empathise with her and root for her ultimate success. It seems reasonable to conclude that the only individuals who will rave about this film are those for whom corrugated iron splattered with a bit of red paint is "art".
