Perfectly adorable
If the ambition is to provide two hours of instantly forgettable, popcorn-munching escapism, it succeeds.
View MoreThis movie was so-so. It had it's moments, but wasn't the greatest.
View MoreFanciful, disturbing, and wildly original, it announces the arrival of a fresh, bold voice in American cinema.
View MoreOK, I don't really know how to begin so I will just jump right in. I am impressed by the Orb. Considering what it cost to make the movie, I feel that the writers, actors, directors, camera men...etc. did an awesome job. I have seen big budget movies that weren't as good. Not to say it didn't have its lame moments. The orb falling from the sky... come on now. We all got a good laugh out of that. However, once the Orb lands on earth and emerges from its strawberry it looks great. Very impressive. Other than that, and maybe a line or two that is kinda cheesy this movie was done extremely well. I look forward to seeing what Sandust Productions does next.
View MoreDusty/Sandy/ScottGreat job on making the Orb. From the beginning of auditions to the screening of the film. You guys kept it professional and on key. I could imagine if there was a budget! Anyways here is my 2 cents of the movie, if it even counts. Everyone starts with pro's, so i will start with con's and write what others have said.Con's The orb in space and flying in the sky was a little cheesy. To much walking in the woods and yelling for others. 1st person dies by catching the orb. Ending when kathy is standing, audience is left wondering if she has the orb in her or not. (but since she is not running after the military people we can assume that she does not have the orb in her) Sex scene's were a bit to long. People dying to long and was almost predictable Lighting and some scene's looked like out of focus. Not as scary, however I don't really count since I knew how it would end.Pro's Ioulia Stole the show! She was awesome! Score and Sound rocked!!!!!!!!! The location and background was awesome, almost its own character. The scene of Julius chasing the others was great The one shot scene of everybody getting to the camp site is probably the best shot I have ever scene, with big budget movies included. Actors were believable with there characters Lew's character was a treat. Opening sequence was fricking the bomb!!!!!!!!!! Malia being pulled off screen was done well. Malia kissing Jenny was priceless. Opening sequence was done very well Shots with just the leaves and bugs were a great addition to the movie. The editing of the whole movie was done well.Overall, I walked out of the theater satisfied and taught that you guys and gals did a great job with a no-budget movie!
