Newark, New Jersey isn't an easy place for living. There is crime, poverty, and high unemployment in a city about ten minutes from New York City. This ninety minute documentary is about these three doctors who are friends and colleagues. Despite their success, they have always returned to their roots in Newark. Amira Baraka, a poet and writer, makes an appearance in this documentary along with Bill Cosby. The doctors had obstacles to get to where they are successful and determined to inspire others in Newark to succeed despite the harsh obstacles. This documentary is worth watching to inspire and uplift others like Malique in the film.
