A brilliant film that helped define a genre

It’s an especially fun movie from a director and cast who are clearly having a good time allowing themselves to let loose.

PROS: The movie was intense at times.CONS: The teen scream acting along with a terrible plot and you get this movie. I get that sometime a teen scream feel is helpful, like with the movie TELL ME HOW I DIE, but this movie didn't need it. Time and time again I expected for the characters to be something memorable, they weren't. The worst thing was how cliché the movie was though. There was nothing new, nothing creative. It felt like I was watching every bad movie I saw being put into one. There were so many things that just didn't add up and then you were left confused on why this was even a horror movie to begin with, because there was nothing truly terrifying in it nor was there anything keeping you invested. At any point in the movie I could've walked away and not regretted a thing because by the time the first 15 minutes pass I already knew I was in for a s*** show.www.chorror.com

So terrible that I wanted to turn it off. Worst acting I ever saw. Felt sad for a few of the good actors, but not the 2 female leads. Both were just horrendous. The evil one was so bad I was hoping she'd be done in early on. The other one so stupid not to read between the lines. When they are working with Frances Fisher, you can see how bad they are in not even coming close to good acting.Billy Zane wasted in this trash. Why do they produce these terrible films? Surely there are better writers, actors and directors. LMN must be desperate sometimes for the work they present. Why do these good actors in some cases do these films? Do they need money that bad?If it weren't for Frances Fisher, Billy Zane and the boy friend, what's his name, I'd turn this crap off. Hope to God I never have to see these two lip gloss bad leading ladies again. Get a life, girls.Oh yes, nice touch killing the kitten in such a terrible way. Sick writer that you are. Whenever you have bad scripts and bad actors, kill an animal and make it worse. Right?

If you've seen Single White Female, then you've seen this movie. Or just about any thriller for that matter. This will not make you look forward to starting college! A lady is about to start college, and her new roommate seems nice but then starts showing signs of obsession, overprotectiveness, nd jealousy. She soon learns why. This offers nothing new in the originality department, but you might like it if you like thrillers and the stars. I love the scene where the bad roommate sets up the fashion design professor-that was well done. There were also some suspenseful scenes and good college scenes, but you can see everything coming from a mile away. The cast does work well together-I will give them that.** out of ****

I just picked it up because the trailer for this teen flick staid somehow in my mind and it did remind me of Single White Female (1992). But all I can say is that it was indeed a teenage flick. i can't say that it was a horror or a thriller but just a teenage flick. Of course it was promoted well due two of the cast of Vampire Diaries to be seen but even they are only for a short note in it, Kat Graham (Kim) being in it for a few minutes but the one every Vampire Diaries fan is waiting for Nina Dobrev (Maria) only for a few seconds. You really have to wait until the end before things got out of hand, before that we just see some kind of sick jealousy from Rebecca (Leighton Meester) taking revenge on the life of Sara (Minka Kelly). I'm sure that teenagers will love this and will find it scary but to be honest, I would say, admittance under 12!Gore 0/5 Nudity 0/5 Effects 0/5 Story 0/5 Comedy 0/5
