It isn't all that great, actually. Really cheesy and very predicable of how certain scenes are gonna turn play out. However, I guess that's the charm of it all, because I would consider this one of my guilty pleasures.

The plot isn't so bad, but the pace of storytelling is too slow which makes people bored. Certain moments are so obvious and unnecessary for the main plot. I would've fast-forwarded those moments if it was an online streaming. The ending looks like implying a sequel, not sure if this movie will get one

I didn’t really have many expectations going into the movie (good or bad), but I actually really enjoyed it. I really liked the characters and the banter between them.

I was one of the first people who got to see an early cut of this movie at a showing in Chicago. The film is very accurate and it tells the story of how urban ideas can shape the world.House music and its accompanying culture was born in Chicago and spread across the free world. Having lived many parts of this movie, I was moved. But more importantly, it illuminated background facets of the culture that I was ignorant about.A lot of people talked about being around back in the day. I'll freely admit that I only was there for a portion of it. Nobody was there for it all, nobody. However, if you see this movie, it will put you right in the middle of it, and you'll come out with a strong knowledge and appreciation for what House music and house culture is all about. However, it's also tragic because the very city that spawned this phenom, today hardly acknowledges its existence. As urban culture giveth, so urban culture taketh away....Kimmie D and Chip E deserve massive praise and respect for this film.If you are a fan of house music, or call yourself a fan of house music, you should see this film...because you are in it! Your name might not be in the credits and your likeness may not appear on the screen, but you are still there! If you look carefully, you will actually see yourself in the many faces that appear in this movie. You owe it to yourself to see this film!
