if their story seems completely bonkers, almost like a feverish work of fiction, you ain't heard nothing yet.

A terrific literary drama and character piece that shows how the process of creating art can be seen differently by those doing it and those looking at it from the outside.

It's simply great fun, a winsome film and an occasionally over-the-top luxury fantasy that never flags.

The acting in this movie is really good.

To be honest I saw the movie cause it had the guy from angel in it..And I really enjoyed his character. The movie was OK, it had its entertaining moments. But i dunno just got dumb. I mean OK it starts off where you meet these three girls and they are from a small town and bored with life. Well then there comes This hot dad named keith, and ya, he seems like a pretty cool dude. Well we come to find out he cheats on his wife with one of these girls. The other girls get jealous and want to lose their virginity to him. this is where it starts to get weird, they trade off babysitting for him, which aka means they are banging him. He tries to eventually get them off his back, which was a really good idea, but then i'm not sure what happens it kinda gets ridiculous and the movie makes it seem like he is that bad guy, which ur right, he shouldn't have been cheating so I guess thats what he gets, but my god, "these girls" are just stupid. Not happy with the ending, but like i said it had its entertaining moments

Well, it didn't make me sad about seeing it. The narration in the beginning made me expect some wonderful coming of age tale for these girls. I was disappointed. I expected lots of good laughs. I was disappointed. I expected great indie performances; I was disappointed. The whole movie was a watered-down version of what it could of been. It just came off average. The female actors were given great roles, and didn't achieve greatness. David Boreanz did an adequate job; his part, however, may have been his downfall. The character was at one moment charming and the next a complete ass. I didn't feel the writing kept true to the character and served the sketchy plot more than the character. The ending was pretty dynamic though. It was an interesting story that wasn't told very interestingly. Oh well, it is still worth a watch though. I'm sure some people will like it far more than I did.

Finding the premise intriguing, and reading the reviews, and being an Angel fan, I watched this movie. It's sexy and original, and quite entertaining. David Boreanaz is Keith. He's a hunky married man, stay at home Dad, and he feels a little inadequate in his marriage. He makes the mistake of penetrating a close circle of teenage girls who are fascinated with the idea of doing it with an older man. They'll do anything to get into his bed, including beg, lie, and blackmail, but they mostly try to push his buttons. The nuttiness that ensues sends Keith reeling, and pushes friendships to the edge. David Boreanaz shows a little skin in this one-- and he's looking hot. Yes-he plays a sleazy cheat - but he shows enough vulnerability and tenderness toward the goofy teens that you end up cheering for him in the end. One more thing, when someone moans "oh yeah, oh..oh..YEAH!!", it's hard to see them as a victim of rape.

I agree with the posters before that the characters were exceptionally strong and believable and all the actors at their top form. I especially loved David Boreanaz stretching in a part so unlike anything else he played proving once again his amazing gift for comedy. The first part of the movie was light and funny, the blackmail part was a bit surrealistic but interesting - and it was all downhill from there.I found it frustrating that at least two out of the 3 girls (Keira and Lisa) get out of the blackmail&betrayal scot free, nary a trace left on their psyche. I know the movie amended the darker ending of the play - and I am not saying I missed the murder part. But I surely needed to see those two getting their comeuppance somehow and I was left groaning in frustration with the ending. (It's why I gave it only a 9)But definitely an interesting film.
