Plot so thin, it passes unnoticed.
It isn't all that great, actually. Really cheesy and very predicable of how certain scenes are gonna turn play out. However, I guess that's the charm of it all, because I would consider this one of my guilty pleasures.
View MoreIt’s not bad or unwatchable but despite the amplitude of the spectacle, the end result is underwhelming.
View MoreAmazing worth wacthing. So good. Biased but well made with many good points.
View MoreHaving watched both of the Traces of Death, This part is the sickest of the two. If Traces of Death 1 had any appeal, this has lost it. Basically it's a compilation of death scenes mixed in with 'death metal' music, which makes this part even more sickening than the last one. Traces of Death 2 features some of the most nasty real life scenes of death, mutilation, and needless suffering on DVD. It has no context, And I mean none, just the pointless gibberish what the narrator comes out with to add more, if you'd like to call it, 'flavour' to the mayhem. There IS NO appeal to this type of stuff in my opinion, it is humans at their lowest. And as a plus, it goes in the same tradition of Traces of Death1 with it's bad editing (and of course the scenes are 100% real), and what appears to be the old 2 VCR copying setup to get the footage on another tape. Avoid, avoid, avoid!! 1/10.
View MoreOver the years I have seen many different types of faces of death movies. You have "The Many Faces of Death part 1-10", "Faces of Death part 1-4" (I think), and others like "Banded in America". But none of those comes close to "Traces of Death" Part 1-5. Excellent death movies, simply excruciating scenes of pain and death, and on top of that a bad *ss soundtrack with some wicked death metal music. I would have to say parts one and two are the best, three was weak and 4 and 5 were better. If you for some chance run across these movies check it out. I know there are many people out there who hate these films but these can also teach you some things. Things like never fly a ballon near power lines, never run out in front of a motorcycle, never p*** off an African tribe, and never get a sex change! 9/10 stars.
View MoreWoW! This one is more gory and deady than the first! If you liked Traces OF death...watch Traces OF Death II! The only thing I didn't like is they combined Death metal music with scenes of human death..but if you like Death metal that's ok. I particularly like the people jumping from buildings on fire! One sicko jumped just in front of a camera. See a solider losing his arm, and a native being castrated - this scene makes me feel very uncomfortable. There is another scene of punishment for rape; human sacrifices; murders. In the first Traces you can see a male to female sex change, in this one it's a female to male sex change... and much, much, more. If you are sick like me you will love this movie!
View MoreI don't know what one can say about these movies. The first Traces was fascinating to me, the shock value blew me away as it was fifty times more believable than Faces of Death. I saw the 2nd Traces just out of curiosity and didn't like it at all. The addition to extreme heavy metal music to the soundtrack just turned me away from the film. The music seemed to turn my repulsion volume up a few too many notches. Even so, the movie was just really bland. See the first, if you can handle it, it's realism and gore will blow you away.
