Plot so thin, it passes unnoticed.

In other words, this film is a surreal ride.

StyleSk8r

At first rather annoying in its heavy emphasis on reenactments, this movie ultimately proves fascinating, simply because the complicated, highly dramatic tale it tells still almost defies belief.

A lot of perfectly good film show their cards early, establish a unique premise and let the audience explore a topic at a leisurely pace, without much in terms of surprise. this film is not one of those films.

As short films go, Traveler is a gem. Brilliantly written and cleverly shot, the story keeps you guessing until the final sequence. I love the feeling where I can become lost in a story, and most of the time, I can't, unless the story has some intelligence to it. Traveler is not only intelligent, but it has that unique quality to make you research the story once it has ended! And, when it ends, you want to know more and you want to see more. In addition, the visual effects are amazing. From forward-thinking tablets to a wristwatch reminiscent of the Predator, its use of props to tie the story together is equally as important to its dialogue. If you are a fan of World War II history, Traveler is not to be missed. Grab some popcorn and settle in. Well done, filmmakers!
