Just perfect...
It's easily one of the freshest, sharpest and most enjoyable films of this year.
View MoreThis movie feels like it was made purely to piss off people who want good shows
View MoreIt's simply great fun, a winsome film and an occasionally over-the-top luxury fantasy that never flags.
View MoreI thoroughly enjoy this Indie Thriller Feature film. I was especially impressed with the start sequence, which set up the premise of the film nicely. The steady-cam shots helped to build the mood and the journey that the main characters embarks... The acting is fairly convincing for most of the film. Overall this film is Worth watching!
View MoreOr was it tree? Apart from word-plays and jokes that might or might not be funny, the movie has a lot of issues. One being its lead actor (some might argue that calling him that is a stretch, but think about Steven Seagal). There are not many emotions on display, especially if you try to find some on his face.On the other hand you have many of the downfalls of horror movies and the clichés involved. It may not be the most original story but it would have done the trick, if it were better executed and had a better script. I did mention the "acting" on display or the missing of it to be more exact. There are a few nice moments, but too few and far in between ...
View MoreYou spend the whole expecting to see these creatures, or whatever they are and then BOOM: anti-climax. Also, not entirely sure why the movie is called Treehouse as it plays little to no part really. It had some pretty promising moments, and the acting by the 2 main characters actually wasn't all that bad. Unfortunately, none of this could save this movie. Not even close to the worst movie I've watched in this genre, but I certainly won't be recommending this to anybody. And the ending ... REALLY?!For more of my ramblings: http://rateddg.blogspot.co.uk/
View MoreDreadful, dreadful, awful, sinful movie. For the duration of this film you will wish that you were actually one of the victims in it, rather than sat watching it as at least their suffering came to an end sooner than the 96 minutes of the film.It wasn't so much that the acting was SO bad (although it was), or that the characters were so one dimensional (one dimension feels like a luxury), but that the plot made absolutely no sense whatsoever. Most of the holes have been covered off in other reviews so no need to repeat them. While on the subject of reviews, I noted that the first three reviewers of this film all felt that *this* film, above all others, was so noteworthy and inspirational to review it positively and haven't reviewed any films before or since. Although I'm sure none are involved with the film, the production company, or the distributor.....
