Exactly the movie you think it is, but not the movie you want it to be.

Each character in this movie — down to the smallest one — is an individual rather than a type, prone to spontaneous changes of mood and sometimes amusing outbursts of pettiness or ill humor.

This short is amazing because it's just so crazy. I can't remember how I was able to see it, but I love it. I didn't know what I was getting into but it was totally worth it. Anyone who loves absurd or funny B movies will absolutely love it, just like I did. Also, crazy original idea.

When Paul's girlfriend is unsurprisingly not in the mood of his middle- of-the-night urges, he takes himself to the shower and knocks one out before returning to bed. It is not too much longer when something strange starts happening with his bathtub and it is evident that Paul's unprotected masturbation has impregnated his bath. With that plot summary would be forgiven for not knowing what type of film this is going to be. Will it be a touching allegory? Will it be a gross-out comedy? Will it be a gory horror? Well in some ways the film itself doesn't seem to know the answer to that question because it seems to want to be all of those and, while it works here and there, it never really pulls it together in a way that really works. The physical design of the baby and the workings of the bathtub is pretty hard to watch and I spent plenty of time watching the screen out of the corner of my eye in case something more horrible occurred. However in other scenes we have what appears to be more moving material we are meant to connect with, and then again we have a soundtrack and some silliness that we probably should find funny.I am not sure what the reasoning was but for this viewer it didn't work and I never got settled in the film, feeling a bit thrown around by the whole thing and that nothing in particular was working or really given the chance to work. The cast to their credit go with whatever is asked of them and they do well, but they deserved the film to be more focused and dedicated to doing fewer things and doing them better. In the end the film sticks in my mind as a messy curio of ideas and tones, all of which offer small moments of effectiveness but none of which are allowed to take hold in the film, ultimately meaning it comes together in an unsuccessful mix.
