one of my absolute favorites!
The movie's neither hopeful in contrived ways, nor hopeless in different contrived ways. Somehow it manages to be wonderful
View MoreVery good movie overall, highly recommended. Most of the negative reviews don't have any merit and are all pollitically based. Give this movie a chance at least, and it might give you a different perspective.
View MoreThis is one of the best movies I’ve seen in a very long time. You have to go and see this on the big screen.
View MoreAfter reading other reviews, i've really gotta wonder if we're all watching the same movie! It was a very cute film, a great follow up to "Once Upon a Christmas" Granted, it was pretty predictable that Kristin would end up getting her memory back and get married to Bill, but it had a lot of twists along the way to it. The acting by Kirsten Prout definitely advanced from the first film, and the acting by John Dye, Kathy Ireland, and Wayne Thomas Yorke was great again. Like it's prequel, "Twice" is a movie that, as a mother of 2, i love to watch with my boys, and not having to worry about anything inappropriate popping up! Some people may call me crazy, judging by other reviews, but i have watched these movies every year since they have come out! I was 10 when "Once" came out, so these movies also brings back good memories of gathering with my family every Christmas and watching it!
View MoreI know it's kind of sad, but I loved it! It's so much fun to watch with your family during the holidays! You can watch it alone, too but I watch it every year on Family channel and it makes you feel all Christmas-y! It is kind of cheesy but I always enjoy watching it and nowadays cheesy movies can be appreciated like High School Musical. That movie is BEYOND cheesy but it's such a big success. This is a movie that the whole family will love. I recommend watching it! I don't know what else to say but I enjoy it every single time. It's so happy and fun you just have to smile. After watching it you'll feel all excited and ready for the holidays I guarantee it!I would love love LOVE if there was a third one to this movie! So whoever wrote this please make another one! I wish I knew where I could buy this movie because I will! :) Two thumbs up!
View MoreTo be honest, the first movie is a little bit better than the second one, but it still is a very nice movie to see on Christmas Eve. The story is predictable, Kirsten her memory is gone in the first part (Ones upon a Christmas) , and her sister will distroy Chrismas for the second time. Kirsten will get back her memory after some time. I must say, is stays very nice to see Katy Ireland on the screen.A Christmas movie must not be a difficult story in the first place. I hope they will make a third one with this crew.
View MoreA sequel to the equally facile and stomach-turning "Once Upon A Christmas," "Twice Upon A Christmas" ranks with "Gremlins 2: The New Batch" and "Superman II" as one of those sequels that's preferable to the original - but it still isn't a world-beater. Fans of the still-lovely Kathy Ireland should seek it out, however, what with it being her last movie to date. One year on from the events of the previous movie, Kristin (Kathy) has settled into life with the Morgans apart from her inability to remember who she was before she got there (she gave up her life as Santa's daughter to live with the family, and thus has no memory of who she is), and Rodolfa - her sister, and the Christina to her Britney - is still seeking to wreck Christmas as she nearly did last time, by selling off the North Pole a piece at a time. Writer Steven H. Berman puts a bit more emphasis on her shenanigans this time, and the movie's all the better for it; the humour makes it easier to get through, and the acting and FX are less inept here, which also helps. But towards the end it gets sappy enough to have Michael Landon turning over in his grave, and Kathy's climactic speech to the world (don't ask) does remind you that an AFI Lifetime Achievement Award is not in her immediate future - and neither is "Thrice Upon A Christmas." Nonetheless, there are still worse seasonal TV movies around. (Like, say, "Once Upon A Christmas.") And the woman is still a dish.
