The Pink Panther sells pink vitamins to citizens of an old west town, turning weak people into strong and active individuals. However, he inadvertently gives the pink pills to a bank robber, making him strong enough to rob four banks. So, claiming the Pink Panther was partially responsible for the robber's crimes, the sheriff commands the panther to round him up.So, it's back and forth robbery heists and the Pink Panther trying to outsmart the crook. Plenty of action, but lesser humor. Loved the Pink Panther's wise moves in this one, though.Grade B-

The Pink Panther cartoons are childhood favourites that I still like. Vitamin Pink is not one of the best ones, but it is still decent enough. The story, despite the interesting premise, is on the routine side, the pacing is not as crisp as it could've been and the humour, though it does have some fun moments in the latter half of the cartoon, is more amusing than it is hilarious. Vitamin Pink is well animated though, the drawing is simple but still looks as though care and heart went into it and the colours are also pretty. The music is catchy and infectiously energetic, the theme tune is one that I still remember and it doesn't annoy me at all. Pinky is a cool and likable character, he is also funny and works well within the story, and the supporting characters are good without stealing his thunder(to me that's a good thing as this is Pinky we're talking about here). All in all, a decent Pink Panther cartoon but not one of his better outings. 7/10 Bethany Cox

This is a takeoff on those old snake-oil salesmen who used to roam the Old West, peddling tonics that would cure everything. (Most of it was just alcohol.) Here, the PP is selling "Dr. Phinks Vitamin Pink" which is simply a vitamin pill. The pill works! We see an old man take one, and the next minute he chasing some young chick around town. Then a "tired" homeless-looking guy on his last legs, takes several pills and - voilà - he turns back into a combination Superman-bank robber. In a funny scene, the thief gives some pills to his horse and the horse suddenly sprints away from the trailing posse. Now, the Panther is in a jam, because he's responsible for this crime. The sheriff pins a badge of him with the job to go capture the crook. What ensues isn't as funny as the previous scenes because too much is repeated as the robber robs the "Second National Bank" followed by the "Third National Bank." Our vitamin salesman has the answer, however, to stopping the bad guy, and it's fairly funny.

In this cartoon the Pink Panther is a quack medicine salesman who turns up in an old western town to flog some placebo vitamin pill that apparently gives you superhuman energy. But no one's buying it, quite literally. That is until some exhausted dude comes along and is so energised by it that he decides to rob the 1st National Bank and then the 2nd, 3rd etc. Blaming Pinky for this mess, the Sheriff makes him a deputy and orders him to clean it up. Some mild and not very funny mayhem follows. Some of it will make you laugh, or just grin, but it's pretty much a below average adventure for Pinky.
