A pleasant chicks movie, not great or perfect, but in the girl's movie genre it is worth watching. Like I said, this is entirely downvoted by those fake people who stay away from truth and reality and think life is made of princesses, castles and fairies. These people will faint and get angry when they hear a pregnant woman saying her pregnancy got her hemorrhoids. The amount of a-list actors are not properly exploited by the movie, their roles are pretty melted with the crowd.I'm not sure about the end credits with a kid in a park getting hit by a can of beer, but I don't judge a film by it's last 2 minutes.

I knew this was a film about women and their partners expecting babies, and I knew one or two big names in the cast, I assumed it would be rated low or average, but whatever it would be rated I was willing to try it, from director Kirk Jones (Nanny McPhee). Basically set in Atlanta, this film looks into the lives of various characters, specifically dating and married couples who are expecting a baby together, and how they are preparing during the pregnancy and for the due dates. Fitness trainer Jules Baxter (Cameron Diaz) and dance partner Evan Webber (Matthew Morrison) were crowned the winners of TV show Celebrity Dance Factor, but she vomits into their trophy, and hence realises she is pregnant, she tries to continue a regular life, but she constantly argues with Evan, but they make up and have baby daughter Emerson together. Holly (Jennifer Lopez) is unable to conceive children, so she and husband Alex (Love Actually's Rodrigo Santoro) decide to adopt a children from Ethiopa, Holly has Alex hang out with a group of fathers called the "Dude's group", walking in the park and supporting each other, founded by Vic Mac (Chris Rock), Alex is nervous and unprepared, which upsets Holly but they make up and go to Ethiopa and adopt baby boy Kaleb. Breast feeding boutique The Breast Choice owner Wendy Cooper (Elizabeth Banks) has been trying to have a baby with husband Gary (Ben Falcone) for two years, she finally does conceive a baby and confirms with five pregnancy tests, but has a breakdown at a convention because of how she feels during the process, her reaction was filmed and becomes a hit viral video on YouTube, more customers show up at her boutique after. Gary's father Ramsey Cooper (Dennis Quaid), a famous race car driver, announces that he and his young wife Skyler (Brooklyn Decker) are also expecting, she becomes the envy of Wendy during her pregnancy because she seems to cruise the process with no issues, she eventually gives birth to twin daughters whose names are revealed to be "Aia" and "Nia", Wendy meanwhile is must have a cesarean section when giving birth, she loses a lot of blood, but is okay and has baby son Theo. Skyler's cousin Rosie Brennan (Anna Kendrick) meets old high school friend Marco (Chace Crawford), they have sex once together which results in her being pregnant, they are both worried about becoming parents at first, but they come to terms with it and move in together, but one night Rosie is bleeding and is rushed to hospital with Marco, they are devastated to learn she has miscarried, this forces the break up between the couple, but eventually they get back together and decide to take things slow. At different points in the film the various characters meet each other, Gary goes to the weight loss program run by Jules, and Wendy and Skyler have Holly take their photographs. Also starring Joe Manganiello as Davis, Cheryl Cole and The Black Eyed Peas' Taboo. The acting from the ensemble cast is as good as you would expect, the mixture of stories together all individually have their moments, and the how the characters come to terms with and go through the pregnancies is fine, there are one or two points when the jokes do work and make you laugh, it is not the funniest film ever and obviously has a fair amount of sentimentality, but overall it is not a bad romantic comedy drama. Worth watching!

What to Expect When You're Expecting is a dramatic and comedic film that is based on the book of the same title written by Heidi Murkoff and Sharon Mazel. It has an ensemble cast that includes stars like Cameron Diaz,Jennifer Lopez,Elizabeth Banks,Brooklyn Decker,Anna Kendrick,Chris Rock and Dennis Quaid. It attempts to put humor on what is to be expected on pregnant women particularly at the time of delivering their baby.It was directed by Kirk Jones. The screenplay includes women such as:Jules,a female contestant on a celebrity dance show and a weight-loss fitness show host that became pregnant with her dance partner's baby;Holly,a woman who adopts a baby from Etiophia after her husband has had difficulty conceiving; Wendy,a wife who finally becomes pregnant after two years of trying; and Rosie Brennan, who becomes pregnant unexpectedly and suffers a miscarriage. All these women are involve in five plot lines that intersect with one another.Too bad that the movie is suffers from lack of originality as it definitely was just a rehash of jokes and comedic scenes that have already been seen from many movies in the past.It was also boring at times as the cast involved fails to spark interest to their characters especially among the viewers. The only two positive things I could say is we get to see the sexy actresses involved flaunting their bodies and ultimately becoming showing how great they are able to keep their sexiness at the time of pregnancy. With regards to it acting as a pregnancy guide,it was just too bad that they don't bring new information for single women who will become mothers in the future except those that many are already familiar with. What's more, the characters mentioned don't provide sincere emotions of getting pregnant nor the stage of parenthood for fathers and most especially mothers who are going to have a child soon whether by delivering one or adopting one.In addition to that, the performances of some of the cast are severely lacking in authenticity and sincerity. No wonder some members got Razzie nominations. In the end, it would have just been better that a documentary was made instead of a dramedy or better yet,the movie took some risk with the screenplay for it has the talent to do so with the cast involved.
