Just what I expected

TrueHello

Fun premise, good actors, bad writing. This film seemed to have potential at the beginning but it quickly devolves into a trite action film. Ultimately it's very boring.

Unshakable, witty and deeply felt, the film will be paying emotional dividends for a long, long time.

Although I seem to have had higher expectations than I thought, the movie is super entertaining.

CHRIS EVANS AND ANNA FARIS was a weird match, but in this movie it really worked. AND THEY'RE JUST SO FUN & SWEET TO SEEFavorite Part: Ending as usual, it was so cute no matter what her number would be. He knew she was the one.I'm letting you know that this movie might be funny as hell when she was tracking all of her exes and turns out how losers they are, Chris Evans you know they never stand a second chance (what a lucky girl). BUT ITS FUNNY HOW HIS HUSBAND WAS IN IT! like dude Anna you're future was there...(sadly 2017: Chris Pratt and Anna Farris broke up)10/10 -- RECOMMENDED TO EVERYONE WHO IS A SUCKER FOR ROMANCE

This is a funny movie with a good premise where the leads work well together. Anna Ferris decides she's to the point where she's reached her point where she's slept with "enough" men and needs neighbor Chris Evans's help in tracking down her exes in finding "Mr. Right." You know how it's going to turn out, but you have fun getting there. The scenes with the exes are absolutely hilarious, and Anna and Chris work well together. I also like the wedding scenes and the part at the beginning where she gets fired from her job. If you like comedies, this is perfect for you! I loved it and thought it was a harmless time-killer.*** out of ****

What's Your Number (2011): Dir: Mark Mylod / Cast; Anna Faris, Chris Evans, Ari Graynor, Blythe Danner, Chris Pratt: Mediocre romantic comedy about being the one person to ultimately connect to another. Unfortunately the only connection being made is catching up on one's sleep due to the boredom presented. The plot regards Anna Faris as an older sister whose sibling is engaged. After embarrassing drunken festivities she decides to track down her ex-boyfriends to see if at least one is worthy of a second chance. She is aided by a male neighbor who seeks her apartment as refuge until his nightly flings leave. He will agree to track down her exes but viewers know the pathetic drill here. Director Mark Mylod does his best with the thin material and pulls off a few nifty visual sight jokes that hardly save the film. Faris bares her bare ass more than once in what comes across as desperate, but at least her comic dispositions make for the one element worth watching. Chris Evans as her neighbor is completely predictable. He will track down her exes while falling for her himself. Who didn't see this plot twist coming? Ari Graynor plays her engaged sister whose only function seems to be worrying about inviting her father to the wedding and upsetting her overbearing mother about it. Blythe Danner as their mother is a role every bit as boring as what Evans is given. Chris Pratt plays an ex- boyfriend who goes by the name Disgusting Donald. Viewers will know that their number is up when they are forced with the dread of sitting through this tripe. Score: 3 ½ / 10

Romantic comedy starring Anna Faris playing her typical character in this rather dull and unfunny film. There's a smart, funny, observant comedy- drama to be made about the role our romantic pasts play in determining our futures. Faris and Evans have frisky chemistry until a dire, endless third act separates them for the most arbitrary reasons. Both of them play their part well as it shows, however the rest of the cast suffer. When What's Your Number? works at all, it's a testament to the charm of Faris. She delivers a joyously unashamed performance in a flailing, sputtering rom-com that gives her and the rest of a supremely overqualified cast ample cause for embarrassment. Though many scenes could have been better as it became a bore watching the final product unveil. The trailers for this film made it seem like such a funny comedy but once watching the film, it was not that funny. A few chuckles but not much else to offer. Also predictability is very evident.
