I saw this movie before reading any reviews, and I thought it was very funny. I was very surprised to see the overwhelmingly negative reviews this film received from critics.
View MoreThe movie turns out to be a little better than the average. Starting from a romantic formula often seen in the cinema, it ends in the most predictable (and somewhat bland) way.
View MoreWhile it doesn't offer any answers, it both thrills and makes you think.
View MoreThere is, somehow, an interesting story here, as well as some good acting. There are also some good scenes
View MoreA lot can be said about the impact this PPV had by the fact that the WWE never attempted it (under that title, I mean) again! There are too many promos, flashbacks and story lines at the expense of wrestling, and out of the 7 matches only 1 (the last) really feels like part of a bigger event like a PPV instead of something you could see every week, and even that one match has no proper ending! For the record, the matches are: Drew McIntyre vs. Kofi Kingston for the IC title Alicia Fox vs. Gail Kim vs. Eve Torres vs. Maryse (this was very disappointing, these women have so much more potential) Chris Jericho vs. Evan Bourne (probably the best)Big Show vs. Rey Mysterio vs. CM Punk vs. Jack Swagger for the World Heavyweight Title (they build up Kane's "revenge" a lot for this, so you know he is going to appear, but it's a pathetic "revenge")The Miz vs. R-Truth for the US titleThe Hart Dynasty vs. The Usos and TaminaCena vs. Orton vs. Edge vs. Sheamus for the WWE title (amusing dueling chants from the crowd ("Cena sucks" - "Let's Go Cena"!))None of the matches are outright bad, but none are match of the year candidates, either.
