just watch it!
Fantastic!
Mostly, the movie is committed to the value of a good time.
View MoreThe acting in this movie is really good.
24 was and will remain to be one the best TV shows. The thrill, excitement, and emotion that Kiefer Sutherland brought to the screen was a class apart. This show, however, does not do justice to its predecessor. The acting was mediocre, if you're going to bring back a classic, the cast should match up to the expectations. Also, 24 got its name from 24 episodes depicting 24 hours of the day. If you're going for a revival, why make only 12 episodes like in 24: Live Another Day. Why couldn't they have 24 episodes? It's just stupid to make the 12th episode of 13 hours. The twists and turns that made 24 what it is were just not there.Overall they did a decent job but were no match to the original one and that's why it probably got canceled.
View MoreVery poor, zero charisma on any of the cast. Story was predictable and dull, only good thing was it was only 12 episodes......... 24 was Jack Bauer somethings you cannot change. More terrorists arising from the dead - it not believable and not good fiction either Can assume there will not be a follow up
View MoreI watched this entire season in the hopes that it would get better but, through it all I couldn't help thinking that out of all the extremely talented young African American actors out there why did they pick this one? I can sum up Corey Hawkins portrayal of Eric Carter in one word, horrible! This guy couldn't have been more flat, it seemed like he was just phoning it in. A rotting corpse would have been preferable to watching this guy on the screen, as both have absolutely ZERO range.Ashley Thomas, who played the role of Eric Carters brother Isaac would have been a far, far better choice IMHO. He outshines Hawkins in every scene that they are in together, and is great in the rest as well. This show was aptly named LEGACY, but unfortunately it's legacy will be the end of the "24" franchise. RIP 24.
View MoreWatched the first episode with optimism - 24 back, fresh start, new lead - Jack Baur was a great character but after seven seasons the character had become way too predictable. I suspect that was down to the writers and producers thinking that if it ain't broke don't fix it. First 10 minutes or so hit like a hammer but after that things for me started to go off kilter. The lead character seemed good but as others have said, the character had neither the charisma nor emotional range of Jack Bauer. I struggled to get through the remainder of the first episode, not because of the new lead - he did the best he could with the material, but because of the same old, same old, for example some people in CTU yet again running a secret off-the-grid op to support the main character because, and who could possibly have guessed(!), of a possible mole in CTU.The main female lead tasers her boss? That was as realistic and as cringe worthy as 'Red' Reddington getting a pen tube rammed into his neck in the pilot episode of The Blacklist. The CTU boss may or may not be the mole, a handler of the mole or just a plain old a$$hole. Annoying fecking sub-plots - terrorists should have at least got shot (no pun!!) of the wife, and where did Shiela E come from? The jealous girlfriend looks like she was getting ready to party like it's 1999. The school massacre sub plot made me want to ram my head through the wall, just a dire idea. Finally: As a great fan of the original I was willing to give this a chance but one episode was enough. No originality, none, and too, too frantic. Back in the day 'frantic' was one of the highlights of 24 but watching this episode reminded me of just how repetitive that had got and now, it was just annoying - no time to catch your breath. All in all a real disappointment. , just OK but has come up way short. As others have commented, lazy, lazy writing. Feel sorry for the actors as they deserve far better than the pale imitation of 24 they had to run with. Not their fault at all.
