GravityLoudHouseLover1 Hey everybody I'm RegualrShow1 and today one of my favorite show came on year on the year I was born 1996 called Arthur. This was based of the books by Marc Brown. The show Arthur and his friends and everyday life. My favorite episode is "April 9th" which is about a fire that at Arthur's and is a homage 9/11. This isn't just for kids adult can also watch it. My Favorite Character is probably D.W. who reminds me of my sister. Anyway Arthur is part CHILDHOOD and still on PBS today thought it's animated in Flash which doesn't look good in my opinion. Bottom Line Arthur is great show from Childhood and it get 10 out 10 stars. Anyway Regularshow1 and have nice day. BYE. p.s. HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Angelus2 Arthur is a cleverly organised show that revolves around Arthur who has to deal with home work, friends and most of all his annoying little sister .D.W.The show carries many great positive things like doing your homework, reading, playing sports....Bullying..... The show also incorporates a fun side which many educational shows lack, they often patronise the children...Arthur does not. I love especially love the Christmas episodes, they bring a feeling of merriness and make you smile....I find the character Muffy very funny and Brain to be quite annoying in a good way....A nice educational show with a twist.
LBell490 Growing up I always really enjoyed this show. My brother, sister, and I would rush home from school and watch it. It always kept my attention. In fact as a child I would say it was one of my favorite shows. I had the books, the movies, and I made sure to catch every episode on TV. However, now that I am older I see some of the flaws kids tend not to pick up on. The children throughout the years tend to be very bossy. They have an it's my way or the highway type attitude. So before letting your children watch this show I would recommend you watch it first and decide whether or not you are comfortable with the children's attitudes.
mugsyo I am 32 years old. I started watching the show just because I had PBS on for my son. Now I watch it even when he's not there! There is so much subtle humor for adults in this show. I, too, dislike the way they sometimes get heavy-handed with the "lessons," but that's an educational kids' show for you. This show illustrates how people aren't perfect (Francine is too bossy, Muffy is spoiled, etc.) and that is soooooo refreshing! Plus, they make fun of themselves (The Andy and Company episode, the Magic Toolbox, etc.) Arthur is written in such a way that it is appealing to kids AND their parents, whereas most kids' shows make their parents want to vomit.
