It's hard to see any effort in the film. There's no comedy to speak of, no real drama and, worst of all.

I wanted to like it more than I actually did... But much of the humor totally escaped me and I walked out only mildly impressed.

It’s not bad or unwatchable but despite the amplitude of the spectacle, the end result is underwhelming.

There is, somehow, an interesting story here, as well as some good acting. There are also some good scenes

I entered the series with high hopes and was ultimately let down, personally the characters didn't have any likeable factors and the world wasn't sold as good as other anime's do plus the style and setting again lacked any real character or emphasis leaving me bored and uninterested, watch at your own risk

My plan for this summer was to watch as many anime series as possible, and the few I had watched before 'Attack on Titan' had not lived up to my expectations; this made my standards for this anime extremely high. Yet I thoroughly enjoyed watching it! From the get-go I was already hooked on the storyline, and began to enjoy various different characters, their backstories, and the relationships between them. I typically sleep early yet I found myself watching episode after episode after episode. It was highly engaging and there was never a dull moment. I loved season one and two and can't wait for season three. I highly recommend this anime.

This series got me right from beginning, he story of his humanity is forced to live behind the walls, and how it plays with the main character is great. Can't say too much more without spoiling, but it's a must watch

I started watching the series and the first few episodes were very engaging. It looked like the characters would eventually develop great depth and the series would turn out to be very original. However to my dismay, after the first 10 episodes it almost seems like the series is being dragged on. The plot moves painfully slow. Its one of those shows which you can skip or watch at 2x speed and still be bored. An episode of 24 minutes has content worth 2 minutes, the rest is filled up by a 4 minute long intro, painfully elaborate and unnecessary conversations between characters, some shrill screaming by the protagonist and some recycled gore. Repeat that x25 and you have your first season. The characters are shallow, the story has no depth and the show is unoriginal and full of cliches. Simply put the show made me feel irritated and frustrated.
