    Am I Missing Something?

Too much about the plot just didn't add up, the writing was bad, some of the scenes were cringey and awkward,

It's the kind of movie you'll want to see a second time with someone who hasn't seen it yet, to remember what it was like to watch it for the first time.

Even being a huge Blade fan, in the beginning I must admit I couldn't really get into this show. I think that even though it was obviously not going to be Wesley Snipes kicking ass for 60 minutes, I had the feeling it was missing something when I first watched it.What is Blade The Series? It's different, and in a very good way. Even for those who aren't a fan of some of the acting or some of the fight styles, this show's uniqueness cannot be ignored. It portrays the vampires in a way that I haven't really seen before, and the story becomes very gripping and on some levels, realistic, if that can make any sense.I really hope some TV station is willing to pick this show up again, because it truly is one of those under-appreciated gems. For those who have issues with Sticky as Blade, I can understand how maybe his style can make fans lean either way. However, if you're a fan of the comics and some of Blade's history, then from a visual perspective Sticky is fantastic. To any Blade or vampire genre fans out there, I implore you to give this show a chance, I'm certainly glad that I finally did.

I cannot believe people have some much too critise with this show, it is a fantastic show.admitidly 'sticky's' acting was a bit cautious but that would come with trying too fill Wesley Snipes shoes. he has done a good job considering that that is who he is following. This has not in anyway ruined the franchise of blade. the supporting cast was fantastic and i think that this show could continue on for a few more seasons. i only hope that it does as it left it all up in the air. i do however also have 2 pay credit to 'Emily Hirst' or 'Charlotte' she was fantastic in her role of the 'pure blood vampire boss' her performance was fantastic. well done. too all you people who are still convinced that this is ruining the name of Blade i urge you to re-watch the series and try to see the other side of the argument and understand where i am coming from. just so you know this show hasn't yet aired in the UK (as far as i know) bu it is on the internet so if you are in the UK then you can watch it there, enjoy.

I thought it was well written, tasteful, and no, I don't work for the studio. Ha. Ha. They took a good series of movies and made them into an interesting TV series. There are plot twists. We see information about the characters. Characters are developed in that one would start as one type of person and through personal experience or those of others become something else as in the case of Chase or Krista. I liked the part where we, the viewers, saw how Marcus got to where he was though we didn't actually see how he built his real estate empire we did see how he interacted with his superiors who treated him like a dog. And, then 100 years later he had developed a biological agent and killed them. I saw some scenes from a second season showed on TV a few months ago. I haven't seen too much on the web about the series. Keep up the good work.

Wow...I'm in amazement that there are people comparing Sticky to Snipes, that's like comparing the best 5 star hotel to sleeping in a dumpster. Sticky couldn't act, he couldn't fight, he showed no emotions, the guys not an actor, he's horrible, and the worst choice I can think of to play Blade and take over that role from Snipes. As for the show, why was it called Blade, it should have been called the Jill Wagner show as her storyline was the main theme, not Blades. Bad call number 2 for the show. And lets not forget how they took everything from the movies, tossed them aside, and just did whatever they wanted to with the stories and such. You don't base a TV series on a very well liked movie franchise and then crap all over what the movies have done and shown.I'm very happy this show was axed, maybe if this happened more often instead of people just accepting crap Hollywood would get the message and put out some decent stuff.
