Terrible acting, screenplay and direction.

A Masterpiece!

Pretty good movie overall. First half was nothing special but it got better as it went along.

I see lot of people giving good rating for this series but I think that they are based on their patriotism or enthusiasm about the venture.To be honest after watching lots of American, Singaporean TV series the series is too slow to be qualified as thriller. The story is just a theory as it becomes impossible for a man to commit crimes with a scientific knowledge of force and mass learned within a day or week. The series is something you can't digest once and for all. Justice doesn't prevail in the plot. We feel guilty on watching it as the murder of Maadhavan wouldn't return the lives of innocent people. The Climax is unsatisfying. The whole screenplay is just a mess. There are unwanted characters, unwanted deaths and unwanted scenes that makes the series a garbage.The series with moral dialogues have no morality in the plot. Appreciating just for acting and some of the moral scores.

I can see 90% inspiration from Memories malayalam movie.. Still its watchable. Madhavan performance was really good.

Madhavan is awesome as father and amit sadh as police office. Spectacular work by the team of Breathe. Highly recommended and on par with American TV shows.

Having never watched an Indian series before, I really had no idea what to expect when I sat down to watch Breathe - and it did not disappoint. From the very first scene I was glued to my screen (and have to note as well that the opening credits and accompanying music are also really good).The back story that ties the 2 main characters (Madhavan & Amit Sadh) together is both intelligent and original, and their shared bond/connection over their love for their children is incredibly poignant throughout the series. I found myself completely welled up with tears and reaching for my tissues in the episode where Kabir (Sadh) recalls the loss of his daughter - probably the most powerful scene in the whole series.Some of the other elements I found to be particularly endearing include little Josh - who makes all of his father's actions seem justifiable, and I also particularly enjoyed the dynamic between Kabir (Sadh) and Prakash (his partner). There is a classic good cop/bad cop element to their relationship that is entertaining and quite sweet to watch, providing some light-hearted smiles in some of the heavier scenes. There are no dull moments in this series, it's definitley worth watching. I'm looking forward to Breathe 2.
