    Thanks for the memories!

It’s sentimental, ridiculously long and only occasionally funny

Excellent and certainly provocative... If nothing else, the film is a real conversation starter.

Great movie. Not sure what people expected but I found it highly entertaining.

This ten minute show is fantastic! My kids love it.They are big fans of Brum. I watch it with my children every day. They love how the car moves. They love all the characters like Granny Slippers and the Traffic Policemen. I love how Toya Wilcox does the commentary. I really believe there should be more children's programmes like this. Every episode always involves an adventure, and Brum always saves the day.As we enjoy the BBC2 children's show so much, I have taken my family along to the the live shows hosted by Mark Powlett who plays the Traffic Policemen. Mark Powlett is FANTASTIC!! A great show to see if it comes your way. We even saw Brum live too. I hope this DVD will be around in many years to come so lots of future generations can enjoy the adventures of Brum too!

we love this show too, we are students and think that the traffic policeman is very funny indeed. His dancing is very groovy ! One of the other posts says his name is Mark Powlett. We looked him up and saw that he comes from England and is in pantomime this Christmas. ALthough we don't have pantomime in Germany we would love to come over and see him this year ! W love that this show is so good for children and even though we are all a bit of older ages we like to watch it very much to see all of the antics that are got up too by Brum and all of his friends in the big town. We also like to look on the website for the show to keep up to date.Keep on chasing baddies Brum!!!!! xx x

My Children go crazy for this show. We have to watch it on rotation in our house and once it has finished then they ask for it to be put back to the start again ! They absolutely love the Traffic Policeman and the fact that he gets everything wrong (much like the real police!). I personally like the fact that it is all live and not just another programme with people dressed up in big costumes where you cant see their faces. Its very different and so can be on in our house as much as my two rascals want.In fact we even went to see a live show with Brum and the Policeman in it which was excellent. I think the actor's name is Mark Powlett. I couldn't find him anywhere else on this site but he is a hero to my children (and he looks good in uniform, but don't tell my hubby!)Jayne Gueste

Brum is a great example of a show that works well. Its done almost like a silent movie with the exceptions of the car honking and the child narrators. The show also demonstrates that problems can be solved humanely and without fighting or violence. The costumes are colorful, the characters are bigger than life. I do understand where some stories seem stupid, like the bride stepping on the skateboard, that was far fetched even for me. I wish this show was still on TV other than on Discovery Kids. Its far more intelligent that most shows on today. It ranks up there with Sesame Street and the new Nick Jr. Show The Backyardigans. Watch this show and you'll see what I mean.Brum gets a 8/10 from me!
