It's a mild crowd pleaser for people who are exhausted by blockbusters.

The movie's neither hopeful in contrived ways, nor hopeless in different contrived ways. Somehow it manages to be wonderful

Easily the biggest piece of Right wing non sense propaganda I ever saw.

Just intense enough to provide a much-needed diversion, just lightweight enough to make you forget about it soon after it’s over. It’s not exactly “good,” per se, but it does what it sets out to do in terms of putting us on edge, which makes it … successful?

I already watched Californication like 3-4 times and I will do it so. If you haven't seen it yet, start it right now! You will laugh a lot, you will feel emotions and you'll be addicted for sure. Great actors, awesome storyline, nice pictures. Must watch!

Californication has been one of my favorite Series to watch on Netflix. I like how the writer made each character have conflicts throughout all the season. Hank Moody, played by David Duchovny, is my favorite character due to the fact that he lost his wife and is trying to get her back no matter what's been going on. Also i like how it shows the progression of all the character growing up. Becca, for example, it shows her growing up, making new friends, experimenting with alcohol and drugs and just being a teenager. I really wished they could of continued the series and i was disappointed when i found out there wasn't anymore episodes

This is an amazingly entertaining show...but only for so long. After a few episodes, everything begins getting repetitive and over the top. I have to stop watching for awhile due to Karen, Hank, and/or Hank's female prospects making poor decisions or behaving in a way that is ridiculous.Hank continues to make the same mistakes. Karen makes the same mistakes. Becca, whom I hated in the first few seasons, is actually the voice of reason (but even she is repetitive and annoying). Then again, when you see Hank for who he is, a former big shot writer with an agent, living in LA, who is an alcoholic and sex addict, his behavior and how people around him behave becomes a little more realistic. We all have made the same mistakes, gone back into the same poor relationship, or know drug, alcohol, or sex addicts. All of the characters in this show seem to exemplify all of that times 10.Does it annoy the hell out of me? Yes. But as I write this, I'm a few episodes into season 4, and will return to watch more later.

I have no idea why they didn't keep Faith because she was good, story between her and hank was good and i think Hank should be with her at the end, and 7th season would be different way much more better than the original, the original is just really suck. Hank finally found someone he could love and could love him back, and they understood each other, and she was his hammer, he just needed her in his life. Karen is great but the whole time she and hank seemed like they didn't have a lot common, they were not happy together and Becca was the last thing kept them together but then she left, there was no reason to them should be together, i think hank was always back to her just because he spent so many time to win her back and that became the odd. I think Hank would need a fresh start with new love, new life and that should be with Faith
