This is one of the few movies I've ever seen where the whole audience broke into spontaneous, loud applause a third of the way in.

This is a coming of age storyline that you've seen in one form or another for decades. It takes a truly unique voice to make yet another one worth watching.

I can't believe this show was cancelled. It was so well written and well made. Very shocked the crap they keep on, but cancelled this!!

I cannot believe the USA network would even think of cancelling this amazing show. Colony is hands down one of THE best science fiction shows on TV. The characters are excellent, the story superb and the acting fabulous. Do yourself a favour and check it out, then join the campaign to help save the fantastic show. #SaveColony

Those two words: Tracking Shots. For those of you who know what they are, nuff said. To the Other 99% of you (and me not long ago), Just google the term- its basically when the camera follows the action. Think of some of the best action sequences that pop up in your head and chances are they are THE BEST SHOTS BECAUSE OF THIS INSANELY INCREDIBLE TECHNIQUIE. Children of Men, John Wick, that Tony Jaa madness... and lots more. This show has some of the best tracking shots Ive seen on the small screen, the feeling that these characters are actually experiencing this event combined with the (often) absence of music in those scenes will make you cry... becuae you realize you havent blinked or exhaled in the last 90 seconds. Brilliant.That said, I dont understand what more viewers want from a show. People dissect things too simply in that a show is only good if it has great acting, or pace, or plot, whatever; point is this show has it all. Show some love for sick cinematography. For some Seriously deep character development that makes you have love for every character, good or bad, because at some points you actually cant make up your mind whether they are the former or latter. There is an actual plot written in advance wih planned twists and turns. Above average acting. And.... ALIENS! The unbelievable unfolding of this story throughout the 3 seasons prove to you how something that seems, at first glance, to have been done before, is super Fresh. Ive loved this show since its debut, and I am writing this review at the end of season 3 because I am an intelligent human who doesnt rate based on one episode. Do yourselves a favor and binge watch this on netflix if you havent watched it- and keep in mind that I had to wait 3 years to get to where you are at the end of this last season.A 9 is an insanely high rating for me- RARELY does something get a 10 rating- i mean thats reserved for "The Matrix" and "Breaking Bad" Territory. So this falls into the bracket of some of the best television that you can watch- and you werent pressured into watching it like the other shows that your sheep co-workers and friends tell you you must watch because "you would like it". How do they know?So really. Watch Colony. Finish Colony. COLLABORATE OR DIE!
