Loved the series. Character development of the main character Em is exceptional. She truly is fearless.

Brilliant series that had me totally captivated. Probably one of the best I have seen is some time. I certainly hope for Series 2,3,4,,,, Great plot, acting and cliffhangers.

I really wanted to like this because I really like Helen McRory's work in everything I've seen her in to date. Her acting is excellent in this as well, but that can't save a facile story line people with shallow characters and littered with plot holes. It's the sort of story line where you quickly find yourself rooting against the protagonists and laughing at what are supposed to be the moments of intrigue. It's very sad for everyone involved.

So far amazing acting. Love UK crime series definitely make Hollywood a RATED B group of perfect looking people with oddly enough the same whitest and straight teeth whilst lacking any type of good character acting. Another great series headed by an actress in her prime! Way to go UK. US is so far behind in the leading roles for woman. Great characters, UK is so much better than US in allowing the character flaws assimilating into the actors strengths! Great job will continue to watch,
