I've already submitted a more detailed (ranty tbh) review about this show - series 1-5. I binged watched them with the hubby over a week or so in the evening...this review is just a briefer endorsement of the show. The writing is fantastic. The casting was genius. It is refreshingly simple, yet funnier than you could imagine. Baffling at times but no less entertaining. I'm determined to watch on repeat until the next series (hopefully there is a next series) airs... fingers crossed! Binge watch people! Download them all! Recommend to your friends. It is the simplest yet most entertaining humour I've seen on tv for many years. The acting and writing is superb!

A brilliant show packed with smart comedy and multiple forms of it too. Relying heavily upon tried and trusted settings and basic tropes the show executed them brilliantly highly recommend a watch

Watched this on and off from the first series and every time I ask myself why??? Its predictable, child like humour is embarrassing. I really could sit there for the whole series and not raise a smile. Poorly written sorry. I cant believe its written by the same guy as The Inbetweeners which in contrast is my top all time comedy ...Hilarious. I finally throw in the towel to put myself through any more agonising Friday night dinner. I would rather watch paint dry !!!!! Can we have a sequel to The Inbetweeners A really funny series about what the famous 4 are getting up to in their eventful lives post leaving school and going their own way. This would be worth watching !!!

I watched episode one under protest and thought "what a load of crap". Three years later, I am hooked and I have watched the whole lot at least ten times over. Tamsin (Mummy) and Mark (Jim) are my stars but it wouldn't work without the whole ensemble A very low budget TV show with no special effects. Props are limited to a frozen fox and a splitting images Prince Charles mask. This classic relies on nothing more than brilliant writing and acting. They both conspire to make my belly ache with laughter.I die every time that Jim flinches away from Wilson. Genius comedy. Not to mention Gran accidentally kissing dad on the chest.More please.
