Entertaining from beginning to end, it maintains the spirit of the franchise while establishing it's own seal with a fun cast

While it doesn't offer any answers, it both thrills and makes you think.

Excellent characters with emotional depth. My wife, daughter and granddaughter all enjoyed it...and me, too! Very good movie! You won't be disappointed.

This is a excellent show and I though season one was good! This is great television. Fringe has taken the most obscure pseudoscience, and created a entire world around it. They did it episode by episode oddity by oddity and all while managing to keep a mystery for a back story being told a little at a time throughout the seasons. There is a puzzle of symbols as well which is a cipher that has the audience captivated as well. Can you figure it out? I would suggest you try. It only adds to the excitement, and the fun of the whole mystery!

I recently introduced my partner to Fringe and this was the fourth time I've watched it. Admittedly the first season is a bit of a slow burner and only gets good in the second half, however, as a whole it's incredibly entertaining and has you at the edge of your seat. Absolutely worth sticking with. The stand-alone episodes are compelling and the thread running through all five seasons keeps you coming back for more. I enjoyed seeing Walter, Olivia, Peter and Astrid developing as characters and becoming their own family unit. John Noble is brilliant and Anna Torv comes into her own. The dynamic between her and Joshua Jackson is lovely to watch. In an age when many shows are dragged out for commercial reasons, I thought it was finished at the right time and with a good end, rather than leaving the viewer dissatisfied with a ridiculous ending (Abram's Lost springs to mind, funnily enough). I still miss Fringe 5 years after it ended.

for some people may be thinking that this movie must be a not make sense movie, because everything that happen is out of our sense, and all of that can not happen in the real world. but fringe can make me think that maybe it can happen. because of the explanation and the acting really make me amazed. the explanation of the event really can make it all make sense and so clearly biologic and smart. so, although i have not finished watching this movie yet, i have thought this is an awesome TV show about science.

I'll start by saying that this is my first review,I'm a huge sci-fi fan i've seen so many shows and movies, i pay attention to details, and that's probably why i hate a lot of recent shows. I missed Fringe when it first aired, IMDb was part of the reason for that, there was so many bad reviews that threw me off. I finally decided to give a shot in 2017 ' almost 9 years after' and man I'm happy I did. the first few episodes weren't the best but after a few more i found myself addicted. This show follows it's own rules and lives in it's own universe and if u give it a chance u get to live there too. The storytelling is amazing and focused,'I don't recommend skipping any episode'. Walter Bishop is the mad scientist 'a funny one too', cares for no one and everyone ( played by the brilliant John Noble), Peter Bishop the charismatic genius son who never lived up to his potential, who never belonged (played by Joshua Jackson),Phillip Broyles Fringe Division's Leader, a honorable trustworthy man (played by Lance Reddick) , Astrid Farnsworth Walter's assistant (played by Jasika Nicole), Nina Sharp head of Massive Dynamic, the one who always reminded Bell and Walter that somethings r not there's to mess with ( Played by Blair Brown) and a special mention to William Bell the founder of Massive dynamic and Walter's old Lab partner who's even crazier than Walter IMO (played by the great Leonard Nimoy) and Septembre the Observer who is not like the others ( played by Michael Cerveris) and finally Olivia Dunham (I read a lot about the actress being stiff and wooden, but man she's anything but wooden), Nothing seems to get to Olivia but again nothing is what it seems, she's compassionate, passionate and driven and u could genuinely feel that she cares, I think Anna Torv didn't get enough credit for the amazing job she did as Olivia ( and Fauxlivia ) and for me she became a reason to tune in. I've never reviewed anything before but I wanted to get out there, Fringe is one of the best series ever made sci-fi or otherwise and I'm glad I finally gave it a chance
