Masterful Movie

It's fun, it's light, [but] it has a hard time when its tries to get heavy.

After playing with our expectations, this turns out to be a very different sort of film.

Blistering performances.

We enjoyed Godless more than anticipated. If you didn't already know MD was a Brit, you'd be fooled... her performance as an American is fully convincing. Very good turn by JD, too. Wonderful production design and landscapes, enriching cinematography, and astute costuming, sharp editing, all bolstered by an intriguing story.

I loved this mini series. It brought out the characters very well so you felt as though you knew them. The story it self took you around so you could understand the what, why, and when. What really helped is the fact that this is a story they could go on and on with for years and they would have to find new villains worse than the ones we seen. But instead they gave us a good villain to defeat and then they gave us a happy ending. And Jeff Daniels makes a really good villain.

Stumbled on this Netflix series by accident. Was looking for something else, but got totally hooked on Godless from the start. One of the BEST series Netflix has produced. Great actors/actresses, storyline, cinematography and settings. I am currently on episode 5 of 7 and wishing it would not end. One of those series you wish had 85+ episodes....it's that good. Not sure how it will end, as not reading any of the spoilers. Great job Netflix! Keep more like this coming.

Finally a series I can watch instead of having to read ! There are subtitles for the Native American lines. But very few. Personally, I don't watch a show to read subtitles.This one has some great Actors with a storyline that has you wanting to see the next show!!I hope this one gets a long run! Keep up the great work, Netflix!
