Bad Acting and worse Bad Screenplay
It's a feast for the eyes. But what really makes this dramedy work is the acting.
View MoreExcellent and certainly provocative... If nothing else, the film is a real conversation starter.
View MoreI Just happened upon this series this weekend and loved it. (Maybe I am in the right age group - 50's) i wait with bated breathe for season 2. please tell me there will be a season two, or another "Good ______" season.I just watched the final episodes last night. I guess it helps that I recognize many of the Toronto areas that they film in. I walk down Queen Street west with a new eye, given that they make the area look better than it does in real life. The growing number of shows based and show casing Toronto brings the entertainment home in a way that I as a common citizen can enjoy. Everything is so tongue in cheek. Ken F is funnier than Sienfeld (not hard) and Larry David - and there is a bit (only a bit) of humbleness to his character as he fumbles through life. This is entertainment that I would pay for, and I do!
View MoreSelf indulgent and self important tripe from a producer/writer who clearly thinks he's the smartest and sexiest thing on the planet, yet never conjures up a single laugh. Forget about empathy or identification with the characters. If you feel anything for this guy I suggest you seek psychiatric help to deal with your narcissism. Tries to resemble a certain American TV show (I'll let you figure out which one - it takes less than 5 minutes of viewing)I'll continue because IMDb requires 10 lines of text but how many ways can you describe a turd? Perhaps we should ask the two viewers of this program outside of the actors' families why they watch this. It makes me question Canadian content rules altogether and worry for the future of the species. Really. I think it's that bad.
