Better Late Then Never

Very good movie overall, highly recommended. Most of the negative reviews don't have any merit and are all pollitically based. Give this movie a chance at least, and it might give you a different perspective.

Mostly, the movie is committed to the value of a good time.

This show "jumped the shark" with the episode of the team robbing a bank and blowing up the security boxes. That was just freaking crazy. What government agent would do that? None of these characters have any respect for the law and none of them actually follows orders. What happened to the FBI agent and his drug running business? That was a major themes last season that was ignored.Mike went totally off the rails this year with the bank robbery and the burning of the women's body. Who cares if that prick lives? The finale with Serinda Swans character telling the corrupt cop where he could find and kill Mike was just unforgivable. This show had an excellent first year but the writers totally screwed up the show this year. Do Not Renew!

I think the show has definitely improved from the first few episodes. I thought that the first 2 or so episodes were very weak and the characters were boring and had no layers but I stuck around because I thought it might get better and I'm glad I did. The characters have much more depth now and the show has gotten less hokey. Although I do think it all may seem a bit unrealistic (not the fact that they all live together but what's been happening) its entertaining and always keeps me guessing and on the edge of my seat. I feel like they try to cram to much into each episode though. But overall it's enjoyable and the acting and the show itself have gotten much better.

For those of you with bad reviews....is there anything in your life that you find pleasing???? I'm thinking there is just no pleasing you because this show is VERY good....love Daniel Sunjata from "Rescue Me", very handsome and seductive....plays this role well. I've watched every show and I still can't tell if his character is a good guy playing a bad guy or a bad guy playing a good guy...all very intense and teasing. I usually just DVR my shows and play them later but I count the minutes until this one is on Thursdays and watch it live.... I do agree that you need to watch more than just the pilot to see how the characters relate to each other and how the plot continues to thicken. I challenge anyone to guarantee who the bad guys are and who the good guys are so far this season...

I always ask do we need another crime drama? This has a slightly different setting and premise - a L.A. beach house / safe house for DEA and FBI undercover agents.Every week they go undercover to trap with different scum of the earth criminals. A sub plot is the newbie is sent to investigate the lead agent of the safe house. Hopefully they will have some variety because it's so far been just ugly thugs in ugly warehouses or dark streets.The cast isn't very well known yet. It's always well deserved for talented Broadway performers who can sing, dance and act like Aaron Tveit to get wider exposure. He and Daniel Sunjata are good enough watchable leads.However the other supporting cast are a bit too riff raff even for under cover agents. A more attractive female undercover agent might have helped. Doesn't have to be artificially beautiful and plastic but at least not so gangster like. Hopefully they will get some more pleasing guests on the show.
