While it doesn't offer any answers, it both thrills and makes you think.

The movie's neither hopeful in contrived ways, nor hopeless in different contrived ways. Somehow it manages to be wonderful

It's like Punk'd meets Jay Leno meets Good Eats. This show is schizophrenic but in a good way.If you like at least two of the following things and can stand the other items this show is for you:Sketch Comedy, On the street Punk'n and skits, Knowing what makes things work scientifically, Playing with food, Fat people, and Sight Gags. The host George Duran, was born and raised in Venezuela, but eventually moved to New York to attend NYU majoring in Communications Studies. While in school he hosted a HYE Time radio show on WNYU, where he won an award in 1996 for Best Radio Talk Show National Association of College Broadcasters. He continued in radio doing mainly comedy segments where he'd go out on the street and do stunts and punk people. Eventually he made the move to TV in 2000 working on House of Style. But in 2002 he decided to pursue his other interest–food, and moved to Paris to attend culinary school at the Ecole Superieure de Cuisine Francaise Groupe Ferrandi. He currently lives in Brooklyn, NY.

I absolutely love "Ham on the Street"! It's my favorite show. George Duran makes me laugh harder and better than any one else on T.V. (And that's a lot of people) He mixes food and fun in his giant blender of cuteness and batches up the best street-made thirty minutes in town. He's so adorable and I fall more in love with him with every episode I watch. I wish he would come to my street so we could cook up some fun. If there's any show I recommend to sweep away the Wednesday blues... you guessed it, it'd be this one! I hope he's not married or forcefully engaged because he would be the perfect icing on the cake. So in conclusion, if you want to laugh, cry (due to the laughing), and learn something useful every week, then watch "Ham on the Streets."
