    Best movie ever!

    Brendon Jones

It’s fine. It's literally the definition of a fine movie. You’ve seen it before, you know every beat and outcome before the characters even do. Only question is how much escapism you’re looking for.

There's a more than satisfactory amount of boom-boom in the movie's trim running time.

I really, really, really don't have anything bad to say about this show :)I am a huge fan of Betty White, and while watching Hot in Cleveland I became a fan of remaining 3 actresses as well.Show is old-school fun, realistic and well done, and I can not stop laughing while watching it :)) Although-in my humble opinion,Betty is the queen of the show, and it will be good as long as she is around. The directors should find a way of continuing the show once Betty is not there anymore, and that is going to be really hard to do.I am really interested in following episodes, have a look at them guys-I don't wan't to write spoilers here, but show is really great:give it a chance :) Best wishes to all of you reading this.Have a great day!

Valerie Bertinelli, Wendy Malick, and Jane Leeves star as three beautiful, middle aged entertainment veterans from shallow, youth obsessed Hollywood where keeping a career past the age of 40 is a rarity, especially for women. They move in with a sarcastic elderly Polish woman played by the legendary Betty White. White's character Elka also seems to be loosely based on the character of Sophia Petrillo from her hit '80s show The Golden Girls, while the characters played by Bertinelli, Malick and Leeves seem to mirror Blanche, Dorothy and Rose from that same show in many ways. The show has also had some notable guest stars such as Mary Tyler Moore, Susan Lucci, and Jennifer Love Hewitt.

I must admit that the scenarios are a bit unrealistic. However, sitcoms are meant to be funny and entertaining, so i really don't mind the unbelievable stories. Besides, which show is really «believable» today!? The cast-crew are fantastic and its been a LONG time since i laughed this hard during a show! The scripts and lines are funny, catchy and fit the characters very well! Its the new modern version of the Golden Girls and its just as funny! I LOVE Betty White in this role! I always wished to live this kind of commune life at my retired age and this show just makes me want it even more!!! LOL! Well, maybe even before my retiring years since these ladies surely don't look or are even close to their retirement!! Keep up the great work on this one cause I truly hope this show will last a long time! :)

Love this show. Watched for the first time as streaming video from Netflix. Betty White steals the show. Actually, I laughed out loud for the first time when she said her first line in the pilot. I've lived in California so I know how plastic it is. Three women of a, ahem, "certain" age are on their way to Paris for fun and men when their plane makes an emergency landing in Cleveland. They go to a bar and find that "real" men are giving them the eye. There are some really funny lines in relation to that scenario ("They're looking at me and not through me!") - so true after you hit a certain age. Anyway, the Valerie Bertinelli character decides to rent a Victorian house for a monthly rent that would be the amount charged in LA for one night and stick around a while. Betty White's character comes with the house as the caretaker. It's a fun show, especially for women of a "certain" age who can relate.
