Entertaining from beginning to end, it maintains the spirit of the franchise while establishing it's own seal with a fun cast
View MoreThere's a more than satisfactory amount of boom-boom in the movie's trim running time.
View MoreThe movie really just wants to entertain people.
Very good movie overall, highly recommended. Most of the negative reviews don't have any merit and are all pollitically based. Give this movie a chance at least, and it might give you a different perspective.
View MoreIf you like Always Sunny give this a try. A frienf of mine had me watch a few episodes and now I have five seasons to binge watch. It's Hicks, Hockey players, and Skids and their life styles coming together in a small town. And it's hilarious. It's really fast paced, witty, and some of the funniest insults/ comebacks I've ever heard. It's not outlandish like Always Sunny but the banter is pretty similar and the character development
View MoreSince when are rapid fire insults where you call another guy gay in like fifty different ways considered the height of comedy? This show has nothing to it other than that, fast predictable grade six level insults delivered by wooden amateur actors. Terrible writing and acting and people are comparing this to Trailer Park Boys? That show's low brow but at least it's not insulting. This show get an F from me, huge comedy failure. I fully expect to be bashed by this show's homophobic, hockey hair fans now.
View MoreThe basic premise of this show is that they all talk super fast, using lots of what I suppose is Canadian slang. The main character is the biggest square in Canada, yet he chain smokes and drinks non-stop. His sister is the biggest slut in Canada and he has two friends who add nothing to the story other than one of them likes to eat yogurt. They all drink lots of alcohol yet no one ever gets drunk. Then there's the "skids". Apparently "skids" mean people who wear black metal corpse paint, say each other's names like they are in a death metal band, make meth and do 30 year old dances. Did I mention that the one black person in the show is the only one who ever goes to work? Or that she is almost impossible to understand? This show is watchable but don't expect to laugh more than once per episode.
View MoreI discovered this show on YouTube, and I was laughing so hard during the Cold Open that I knew I had to watch all the episodes as quickly as possible. Jared Keeso's delivery and stone-face are terrific, and just about every line he has is hysterical. This is an amazing show that hopefully will become a big hit even in the States. Don't come looking for complex plots or deep characters, as you won't find them here, but you don't need them. This is great comedy with fun personalities and is going to keep you going back over and over again to catch something you may have missed before. Long live Letterkenny.
