Brilliant and touching
The film was still a fun one that will make you laugh and have you leaving the theater feeling like you just stole something valuable and got away with it.

View MoreBefore I got the opportunity to see the whole series, I managed to watch some reruns on TV here in Spain, and I must say that I was intrigued. That's why I bought it on DVD. The problem was that it is not published in Spain or in Spanish. I didn't mind it a lot, because I was going to watch it in English. So I bought the German edition... without any subtitles at all!!! A little bit of an effort for an Spaniard like myself.I've just finished the last chapter and, although I'm going to need watching it again, I've had the time of my life. The idea of the show is not original, but characters are unique and I've fallen in love with each and every one of them (even Sterling). It is the perfect way to enjoy bad guys doing what good guys often cannot, with a pinch of irony and humor that makes the whole package enormously entertaining. And that's what I was seeking for.
View More"It's about cons conning cons. For the sake of the little guy." This is how I describe this show to anyone who asks why I love this show so much. It's in my top 5 shows I can rewatch over and over without a problem. Reasons: -Each character is strong, not just in "their own way," as the cliche goes, but in a real cool way to make each memorable. -Each episode (except the 2-part S1 finale) has a different con and scheme. -It goes out of the way to offer something fresh and inspiring. -Every time I watch it, it still gets funnier, more heartwrenching. -No villain feels half-baked or barely worth the time to be dealt with. -By the series finale, everything feels complete, no plot holes. When you have such strong characters, memorable villains, evocative themes, relevant thoughts, very good writing (no matter who's writing for which season), how can I possibly pass it up? As Sophie Devreaux says in season 5, "It's a personal thing, you know?"
View MoreLove the diversity between the episode of a season in Leverage. It was remarkable to see improvement in the special effects , soundtrack , and story lines , missions getting much in-depth and complex with every new episode. It is a spectacular TV show even though the context of the story is pretty simple they made it fun to watch on existing therefore I must bear the grief I have of the end with just 77 Episodes such a successful TV show you would expect at least 100 episode before the end. I mean it could practically go on forever the way it was setup because there always are and will be bad guys. I don't understand how they missed the rating and therefore had no money to continue making the show because I did some research and as it turns out TNT did't want to stop with the TVs just that the casting director wanted to end it they said well thats fine by use we won't continue broadcasting future Seasoens
View MoreThis could have been a great show had they not constantly been beating the anti corporate drum. The message was tedious and disingenuous. It got worse each succeeding season. We enjoyed the show when it first came out. I am a big fan of Gina Bellman from her Coupling days on the BBC. The interaction between the characters was good but there were many instances where the acting seemed forced. It was especially noticeable from Timothy Hutton. The plots seemed designed to support an anti free market agenda and it's message stopped being "Lets go after bad companies" to "All big companies are bad". We stopped watching at the end of the 2011 season and I am not surprised it was canceled due to lack of interest.
