The best films of this genre always show a path and provide a takeaway for being a better person.

Actress is magnificent and exudes a hypnotic screen presence in this affecting drama.

Really like the show and its characters, but I can't understand over half of what they are saying! I don't think it's a sound problem, I think the directors and actors need to take responsibilty for producing CLARITY in the delivery of the dialog. Not louder, just more clear. A little more will provide a LOT MORE in the dramatic telling of the most critical part....THE STORY!!!

Why cant he just put the girl in jail already???the Threats, she pra tically admuts what shes done everytime she speaks to luther. Not to mention, ig he does get a threat on his wife from her, why wouldn't he send backup towatch over her house?? Its getting ridiculous and those are just the small annoyances! Ughhjhh whats with the rave reviews?? I will drudge on but if it doesnt get better ill have to bury luther, like a serial killer

2/2/18. Finished the 4 seasons that were available. I really liked this psychological crime thriller with Elba as the brilliant detective that can solve serious crimes despite his own mental health issues. Over the course of 16 episodes, Luther suffers professional betrayal and personal loss yet still manages to catch the criminal. Good screenwriting, interesting serial criminals and Luther's passionate sleuthing make this a must-see series. Luther can probably use a good backstory to explain why he has anger management issues.

I don't like crime scene investigators. Seems like every show these days is something about crime, but this show is different. It does not focus on the crime, it builds off the character. Really good show, a little bit of disappointment here and there in script, but it still keeps you entertained. Also has enjoyable side characters that add a lot of depth into the show.
