I enjoyed watching this film and would recommend other to give it a try , (as I am) but this movie, although enjoyable to watch due to the better than average acting fails to add anything new to its storyline that is all too familiar to these types of movies.

There's no way I can possibly love it entirely but I just think its ridiculously bad, but enjoyable at the same time.

If you're interested in the topic at hand, you should just watch it and judge yourself because the reviews have gone very biased by people that didn't even watch it and just hate (or love) the creator. I liked it, it was well written, narrated, and directed and it was about a topic that interests me.

In fact, second only to "Bojack Horseman" and "Friends."This show, while it is a situational comedy, defies the usual sitcom. In most such shows, particularly family shows, all is well because all ends well. This show has no such structure. The family is dysfunctional beyond measure and only twice in the entire series is the family getting along. Twice out of 151 episodes. This show leads me to believe that Bryan Cranston and Jane Kaczmarek are two of the funniest people in television. Both have equally funny antics, and while the cast of the boys is also good, it's really the parents that make the show so gut-bustingly hilarious. The show has everything you could want in a comedy: episodes that are critically-acclaimed (Bowling, Billboard, etc.), episodes that are just plain hilarious (Living Will, Malcolm Defends Reese, etc.), and episodes that are both (Blackout, Graduation, etc.). The only problem with the show is continuity between episodes; often dialogue in one episode will contradict dialogue in another episode. But in a 7-season sitcom, that's hard to avoid.Other than that, the show, pardoning a few slapstick episodes, is practically flawless. The humor is always clever and frequently insightful, the characters vivid, yet flawed... it's like a drama in a comedy.A Televisual Masterpiece.

the MC is a teenage version of the Einstein with a messed up family (like a lot!!) the story follows daily life of Malcolm and how he manages everyday problems using his genius which includes his school life and personal life. each episode is filled with excitement and unpredictable nature , the family background is poor and quite messed up but at the end of the day they love each other and they come together to solve the problem (which is mostly solved by Malcolm ) the acting is good and the settings is also good ,the show displays how a family should not be, the pranks are awesome and out the box (literally) the addition of new member to family adds a kick to the story

All the episode are fun and excellent , I want to talk about one episode (S2 Ep12) 3 stories with (Mom and Dad) are going through them all ,, with smart new character .......... Linwood Boomer made a good incredible job with this episode . hell, with whole of the series. all the actors are pros really really pros in a way of get you feel of wondering . this series is really fun with clever script, despite its simplicity. I didn't expect me to be so huge fan of the series or the maker or even the actors. I recommend all kids and families to watch it , it is really family- friendly. 10/10 ..... worth more if you asked me .

This sitcom is one of the best sitcoms in Fox. In addition to other very good sitcoms as "Friends", "Seinfeld", or "Married with children" this show is so funny as these shows. "Malcolm in the middle" is so realistic and original. The mother Lois (Jane Kaczmarek) that lost her temper all the time, is a very funny character, also as Hal (Bryan Cranston) that is the sensitive and immature dad. Also the problematic sons, including Francis (Christopher Masterson) that is the worst and sent to military school, Reese (Justin Berfield) the bully one, Malcolm (Frankie Muniz) that is a genius, the little Dewey (Erik Per Sullivan) that is bothered by his brothers, but smart to defend or revenge, and the youngest Jaimie, that is a toddler. This is one of the funniest dysfunctional families; and all the problems that each character has to face makes this show so funny. Totally recommended.
