Authentic acting. Not overstated at all if you've spent any time in the country. Enjoyable twists and turns and magnificent cinematography.

Just finished seeing this mini series and enjoyed it, especially the soundtrack and scenery. The main problem I had was with the one sour expression permanently plastered on Aaron Pedersen - over the top and became boring. Judy Davis did a good job, but she looks too old to be still a cop, and the wig was awful. Absolutely loved the photography and the soundtrack was a great fit - I hope they release all the songs on an album soon - I will buy. Well crafted series that had us wanting more - just get Aaron more animated!

Really disappointed in this Aussie drama. Thought that star studded line up would be a lot better. Scenery brilliant and that's all I enjoyed.

Good scenery but and in the mould of so many Australian dramas, with two dimensional characters with no endearing qualities reciting their lines. There's absolutely no humour, not a witty bit of piss taking that we all do, no matter how dire the situation. Is it the scriptwriter, the melodramatic acting or the director who fails to pause and instruct them how to speak like normal people?
