    Self-important, over-dramatic, uninspired.

    The movie's not perfect, but it sticks the landing of its message. It was engaging - thrilling at times - and I personally thought it was a great time.

    The thing I enjoyed most about the film is the fact that it doesn't shy away from being a super-sized-cliche;

    It's a good bad... and worth a popcorn matinée. While it's easy to lament what could have been...

    Although I myself am way over the age of 3, with no children of my own, I feel that Peep and the Big Wide World is classic children's educational television. The lessons are intelligently woven into light-hearted comedic situations featuring Peep, Quack, and Chirp. The characters themselves are absolutely adorable and get into all sorts of trouble exploring the world around them. Quack is the quirky smart-alec, Peep is the "middle bird", and Chirp is the energetic, sometimes a little wild bird. Children and adults in general will all enjoy this show and perhaps may find themselves in characters in the "big wide world".

    Peep is my daughter's favorite show, hands down. She is now 3 1/2 and has been watching it for over a year. It is the first show she asks for in the morning and the first one she wants after nap/rest time.Her dad and I have seen every episode that has played on TLC (more than twenty times each), and we keep at least 10 or so on TIVO. We often find ourselves quoting Quack lines throughout the day.We even used craft clay to make (and bake) our own Peep, Chirp, and Quack. Now she's asking if we can make the rest (Newton, the Ants, Squeak, Madame Hoot, etc.) It is a wonderful program, and we cannot wait to see new episodes!Oh, and today she has asked me for some string, tape, a straw and two empty plastic bottles to make her own "experiment".

    I stumbled across the show by mistake one morning. I saw how my grandson was so interested so I allowed him to view it. I noticed that my grand child could benefit from the show as it is educational. Then I started watching it and now, I love it. Especially, that Quack! He makes the show! He is refreshingly funny with sarcasm and arrogance. Peep is as innocent as she should be and Chirp seems to be the most practical of the three. I have recommended the show to other parents/grandparents and they are now in agreeance with me. I only wish we had more times to view. Thanks to you all for presenting us with such an enjoyable program.

    My daughter and I love to watch Peep together. It is so amusing, informative and well written. I am a little embarrassed to admit that I often find myself laughing out loud at the antics of Peep, Chirp and Quack. The narration by Joan Cusack is delightful. I am glad the opportunity to introduce my toddler to the wonderful talents of one of my favorite actresses.The live action sequences dealing with science and nature have given us lots of ideas for fun outside play that keeps my daughter's interest.The shows on Discovery Kids really are wonderful and Peep is a great addition.
