Why so much hype?

Excellent, Without a doubt!!

It is not deep, but it is fun to watch. It does have a bit more of an edge to it than other similar films.

The film never slows down or bores, plunging from one harrowing sequence to the next.

I love this show so much, and my heart literally broke into a thousand pieces when I read this was not renewed. Its been forever ever now and I always find myself coming back and re-watching this show. SMG was great in this series and portrayed both Siobhan and Bridget greatly. The show is all about two twin sisters, one of them "Kills herself" and the other assumes her identity only to find out the life her sister was leading is far from perfect. Great Drama, mystery, noir thriller. I'm still rooting and hoping this show comes back, I feel like it would be more successful if Netflix picked this show up. Watch this show I promise you won't regret it :)

As has happened far too many times, a TV network got a fun show with an interesting premise that was truly addictive and then dropped it with no resolution for fans. I did not watch Ringer when it aired as I did not have CW. However, I was hoping that perhaps this once the writers would have had sufficient notice of the cancellation to wrap things up. Really they could have done it with one or two more episodes, but that would require the network to actually give a crap about their viewers. I had the same problem with "The Gates" on ABC. Loved the first season, watched it faithfully, then, BOOM, saddled with a cliffhanger. They need to fire the network execs that make absurd decisions like this.I would have given the series a 10 (despite a few questionable moments in the pilot) but I hate not having answers. I would recommend to anyone who can live with being left a little unsatisfied.

Drug addict stripper (Sarah Michelle Gellar) is witness to a murder and hides out from the killer by pretending to be her conveniently missing identical twin sister (Sarah Michelle Gellar) - an icy socialite who married money and blazed a dark trail with shady characters of a different social strata.Absurd premise, unlikeable one-dimensional characters, appalling writing, terrible acting and a dead end plot that could barely be stretched beyond half a dozen episodes. But once you get past what are not exactly negligible obstacles like those you might let yourself enjoy it. This was an extended b-movie with a 1970s/1980s network TV feel and it had its moments.This was a series especially popular amongst tween and teen audiences and reminds me of the adult shows that I enjoyed when I was that age. At that age the details of what happens from point A to point D are not necessarily things you want to sweat so much.Audiences that need B and C (which this series wasn't that good at staging) are not necessarily more sophisticated but are generally older more demanding of subtext. A network like CW can cultivate younger demographics with shows like this knowing the link will have a lesser shelf life than something of more substance.

A very involving show. The story grows more and more interesting and deep. The characters are developing deeper and deeper and the actors play better and better. After Episode 2 you never can stop. When you come to know that the story is dropped unfinished - it's a disaster. A British invasion to Manhattan. Practically all actors are same good and fit very well to their parts. I would not compare the story with The Prince And The Pauper is directly, it's another story about twins, but it it very different in many ways. I'm addicted. It has more suspense and drama than many other shows. It keeps you on your toes. I got my wife and daughter watching it also. I'm really glad to see Sarah Michele Geller and I hope when her little baby (second!) grows a little, she can continue her carrier and revive Ringer.
