I like the storyline of this show,it attract me so much

Good story, Not enough for a whole film

A great movie, one of the best of this year. There was a bit of confusion at one point in the plot, but nothing serious.

All of these films share one commonality, that being a kind of emotional center that humanizes a cast of monsters.

Rookie Blue is a jack of all trades.It is a comedy, an action movie, an drama, even a romance story. It borrows from movies like CSI, NCIS, Hawaii 5-0 and virtually every other good procedural / buddy cop movie in existence.The result?Not original but very easy to consume. It won't blow you away but it will keep you hooked until the very end. It is predictable and it generally doesn't deliver any punches but again, it's just simply to consume, like a McDonald's of this type of movies.

Rookie Blue was a breath of fresh air when it debuted. And to think that it's a Canadian production!The writing was crisp and engaging - imaginative and truly entertaining. The characters were appealing and truly likable with depth of character. We were proud that it was shot in Toronto (our home town) and had the quality of an American production.This season, it showed it's Achilles heal. Instead of smart writing, the production seems to be falling back to lazy 'run of the mill' scripts and although relationships are always a part of any presentation, now the writers are just moving the pieces around the board. McNally has had a number of relationships and then Sam and McNally are an item, but now everyone in the station house are sleeping with one another and another tact of lazy writers is to introduce homosexuality and spirit-ism into the mix.People - if you don't get off your complacent, average butts and start producing engaging stories without all the usual trash associated with network television today, you too will soon become a victim of the ratings.

I liked season 1 a lot! Season 2 was OK, and season 3 is rubbish IMO. It's all about expectations though. If you, like me, watch Rookie Blue to see a cop show, season 1 will give you plenty of that.It is reasonably realistic and shows stuff that rookie (and experienced) police officers come across in their work. There is also some co-worker relationship stuff in it. Which, as many cops will know, is something that also happens a lot. Overall I found season 1 very gripping, I could easily identify myself with the characters.But in season 2 there seemed to be more focus on the relationship stuff and less on the actual police stuff. I didn't find it annoying though. That was until I started watching season 3. Pfff I feel like I'm watching a soap-opera and oh yes, they all work in a police station and sometimes have to do actual police work. And on top of it, the police action seems less realistic. The producers seem more focused on making the characters look good on screen, then making them look professional.I think I'll complete season 3, but I don't think I'll be watching season 4 it they make it.

Rookie Andy is so stupid sometimes-I marvel that the writers can't possibly make her look dumber; but they do! In tonight's episode she loses her gun-TWICE to the same psycho. She never does radio her position or for backup, just blunders into a cooler to help a little girl that was abducted by the psycho, stereotypically like the barely clad coed going into the dark basement to investigate a strange noise; just in time to lose her gun again and be taken hostage by the psycho. At one point, while the perp was pointing his gun at Andy I was saying SHOOT, SHOOT, get rid of her, she's too dumb to be a rent a cop. In real life she would only get herself killed and probably someone near at the time. These guys just won't shoot in a simple shoot or let a killer run off situation. In tonight's episode Deputy Andy's backup has the psycho running away from him with a bag full of guns & arms and keeps yelling stop, stop, but just can't pull the trigger on a perp to protect the public. He has to come to a locked door to be stopped. Cops in real life in big cities have to use their guns. And this guy had just stolen a little girl and was known to be armed. But just let the perp run away without shooting him. Makes no sense. I would love to see SNL do a sendup of this show. Deputy Andy could lose her gun, get dragged off, and yell 'Oh $#@* I lose more guns this way'. Like some teenagers lose cells. This show is so canuck EH! Love canucks. Maybe they need to find some writers that have some more logical and believable ideas. While I don't watch cop shows for law lessons, I would also like to not have to suspend all belief just to watch. In short: for the season finale, the writing truly sucked. Boog
