This is a small, humorous movie in some ways, but it has a huge heart. What a nice experience.

The acting in this movie is really good.

The film's masterful storytelling did its job. The message was clear. No need to overdo.

Rubì was very amazing, the best novel I've ever seen, Barbara Mori made her debut in Televisa with Rubi and she did it very good. Also Jacqueline Bracamontes made a good performance as the suffered Maribel. This novel made a hit so much that the producers decided to make a sequel, now the bad girl will be her sister's daughter Fernanda, I hope the second part is better than the original. Rubì won all the awards in the novels awards, "Best Actress" for Barbara Mori as Rubì, "Best Actor" for Eduardo Santamarina as Alejandro, Best Supporting Actress for Ana Martin as Rubì's mother Refugio, Best theme song "La Descarada" for singer Reyli.

please answer my questions:1. Will Maribel be treated before marrying Alejandro? 2. What's the name of their son? 3. When will Hector realize that Rubi is an opportunist? what's the instance or situation? 4. i would like to clarify, will Alejandro and Sonia end up together? 5. What will happen to Maribel after she recovers from the loss of hector? honestly, i don't like to watch this soap because it does't impart values. (sorry if you won't agree) i always believe that influences are packed into two: direct influence and indirect influence... one may say that she/he is not affected but somehow she/he doesn't know that he/she is already affected...please answer my questions! thanks a lot...:)

Produced in Mexico, this telenovela (short novel adapted for television) is presented entirely in Spanish, without subtitles. Even though I understand Spanish, I think that's a shame because many English speakers would love this soap opera. I introduced it to some my English speaking friends, and they loved it. The only problem being the lack of sub-titles. The characters immediately charm you. There is no more attractive cast appearing in any soap opera or telenovela anywhere. The plot is less formulated than other telenovelas, resulting in a few surprises and twists that even the most seasoned enthusiast won't anticipate. The scenery is gorgeous too featuring Cancun and its fabulous beaches.There is an element of comic relief provided by the Loreto character, (as portrayed by Miguel Pizarro), a gay fashion designer, and grand confidant of Rubi. He is famous for his comments that always begin with "Rubi, tan bella como..." meaning "Rubi, as beautiful as she is..." followed by an observation such as... ambitious or... desperate, etc. His infamous lines always end a scene in which Rubi shows her true colours, and not the beautiful and kind face she shows to others, in order to manipulate them.Rubi really is a selfish, two-faced woman but, as portrayed by Barbara Mori, you really can't hate her, even when she truly deserves it.I have watched many a telenovela from beginning to end, and this one is my favourite. I was a little disturbed by the last episode, but perhaps that's what makes this telenovela so good. My second favourite it "Amor Real".

It is so long time a go I didn't watch one novela, since "Volver a Empezar", but one Monday, when it started, I watched it and loved it. Specially Bárbara Mori (Amor Descarado), the hotest actress I've ever seen in the world. She knows how to act, the male leading role is for Eduardo Santamarina (Marisol), who is in love with Rubí, a girl only interested about the money, no matter how ugly the guys are. Rubí has a sister named Cristina (Paty Díaz "La Usurpadora"), her mother has a mortal heart's disease (Played by Ana Martin from La Madrastra). The best friend of Rubí is Maribel (Jacqueline Bracamontes/Entre El Amor Y El Odio) who her leg was broken and that is the cause of her sadness. One day, Maribel met a boy on the internet named Héctor (Sebastián Rulli/Contra Viento Y Marea), they met in the airport, but Rubí fell in love immediately with Héctor, here starts the fight between the best friends. Enjoy it!
