    Am I Missing Something?

    Iseerphia

All that we are seeing on the screen is happening with real people, real action sequences in the background, forcing the eye to watch as if we were there.

    Blistering performances.

    O2D

This show is not only unfunny but it's highly unoriginal. The whole premise is stolen from countless other unfunny shows. The couple who has been married for 10 years and hate each other has been done to death by other CBS shows.A coincidence? Not likely. It's the same premise as Everyone Likes Raymond and The Queen of Kings. The younger couple with an extremely controlling woman has also been over done.I can't remember any older shows with that(Married with Children) but Til Death did it.Every story is about how the older man is a terrible husband and his wife is extremely unreasonable and always doing things that would make a sane man avoid marriage like the plague. The show centers around the characters jobs and I don't have a clue what any of them do.I think they all work at the same place but what that place may be is never made clear. The older woman also has a mysterious job that requires her to make lots of presentations. The weirdest part is that David Spade's boyfriend keeps calling him sir.Is that a Peppermint Patty/Marcy reference?I don't get it.And of course the older woman wants a baby and can't have one so they get a surrogate.Another plot line that has been done to death.Of course the surrogate is a pushy lesbian because that's the type of thing they think people want to see.Every time the surrogate opens her mouth I cringe, knowing it's just going to spew propaganda.Weirdly, the most uncomfortable thing about the show is the older man's haircut. For some reason the back is shorter than the front.I wish I could find humor in that but it just bothers me.I have seen every episode and didn't laugh once.Never watch this atrocity.

Rules of Engagement stands out among the many sit-coms because it has a pleasant sense of humor that's simple and direct. The various characters with their features and their personalities mingle in with each other pretty nicely and the result is an amusing show to watch. The friends that meet every day at the diner, talking about their lives and their daily problems, reminds me a lot of "Seinfeld" and I think that the intention of the creator was to take that as a reference. My favorite character is Jeff, played by the hilarious Patrick Warburton, who always manages to have that serious expression and way of doing even in the most ridiculous situations.

I will really miss this show when I reach the final episode. It is the perfect show that you can put on after a hard day at work and just laugh at. There are no dark depressing aspects to this show it just aims to entertain with laughter and it definitely succeeds in doing that. There is a basic underlying storyline that helps to propel the show but it is more about the characters living out their day-to-day lives.Jeff and Audrey are my favourite couple and live up to their stereotypes perfectly. The beer- guzzling, sports-watching neanderthal with a soft-side and his shopaholic, emotional, nagging wife. It may be over the top but it works. The rest of the core cast is also entertaining and each play their part in contributing to a stereotypical world where everyone is funny.Try not to over think this one, just enjoy it for what it is and you'll find yourself laughing in no time.

Hi Jeff - Hahahahahahahaha! How are you? - Hahahahahahahaha! I'm fine. - Hahahahahahaha! No wonder George Bush Jr got elected!!!This is a perfect example of what the general level of intelligence is seen to be by whatever Hollywood board says yay or nay to the junk on the screen today.A comedy without any efforts made in the script to include actual humor. But instead it is seen enough to just chuck the laugh track on overdrive with a tale behind it and all angles are covered for them.It is gone long past the time to bring back either 'live audiences' or 'no fake audience' only (like The Office) for all comedy shows in order to reawaken the spirit of true entertainment and not just mass production of low standard blabber! For those out there who've forgotten : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comedy
