Highly Overrated But Still Good

It's funny, it's tense, it features two great performances from two actors and the director expertly creates a web of odd tension where you actually don't know what is happening for the majority of the run time.

It is neither dumb nor smart enough to be fun, and spends way too much time with its boring human characters.

Through painfully honest and emotional moments, the movie becomes irresistibly relatable

Keep making episodes, the fighting is amazing, the story is amazing, sit back and relax and enjoy this fantastic story.

This series is amazing, though I can see how the first few seasons can turn someone off. This started off as an experimental low-budget show. The animation at the beginning is terrible compared to what it looks like in the most recent series. What really drives this show is the story and the character development. Sure there are a lot of dumb moments and subplots (especially at the beginning) but once this show settled and figured out what it was trying to do it succeeded. Series 3-4 are when it the animation catches up making the entire experience fantastic. The music and fight scenes are also awesome. Basically, this show has its flaws and some of series 5 is getting stupid, but overall its awesome and I'd highly recommend it.

Out of all the animated series' I've watched, this is the best! When I first heard of the series, I had no idea what to expect. A few months or so later, I decided to check it out and did not regret it at all. The show is filled with characters who are defined so well, the writing is funny in the sense that literally anyone could enjoy it, and he complexity of all of the animation sequences are beautiful. The style of the show is also very impressive. Its amazing how it goes for a toon/hand-drawn look, and the fact that it was made in Poser was something that surprised me a lot! There's no doubt that the people who make this show possible are amazingly talented and creative, as they were able to make use of so many amazing tools and do stuff that you wouldn't see in most professional studios nowadays. After seeing all of the behind the scenes videos and interviews, you can't help but just appreciate how much hard work goes into this. And how you can create something great no matter what program you use.

RWBY is just pure art, please take in consideration that it was made with very low budget (or none) and it's just so awesome in every aspect. It is addicting, my friend told me about it, I watched few first 2-3 episodes and after that I couldn't stop watching, so I watched entire season in one day, and I'm the person that doesn't like anime at all because I think it's too childish for me, but story-line is what kept me hooked. Atm. I watched all seasons, and I'm waiting for 4th season.This series are just outstanding, You will not regret if you give it a try, after all, episodes are really short; in season 1 they're just 6 minutes per episode, but season 2 onward they are usually 13 minute episodes.
