This movie was so-so. It had it's moments, but wasn't the greatest.

View MoreThis show was really good fun for the kids. I know all the kids in our family really enjoyed it. Not much here for adults though, but that doesn't really matter since this show obviously is meant for the kids. Kind of predictable stories and jokes, and the cat was pretty creepy sometimes (to the kids)...
View MoreI really like this show. I have only recently started watching it and I am only currently starting Season 4, so I don't know how the show ends. But I think it's really good. It's a new take on witchcraft, because it shows more traditional methods, while putting it in a comedy setting, instead of a dramatic one. I think the characters are very funny, my favorite is Aunt Hilda. But I do want to know why Sabrina's best friend changes every few seasons. This show is about Sabrina, a normal girl who discovers she's a witch. She learns the craft from her two aunts and talking cat. This takes her on many adventures, and leads her to love, loss and friendship.Overall, I give this TV show a 7 out of 10, which in my ratings book is: Great.
View MoreSPOILERS!TGIF, remember the song? This show would come on and it was a great one. But what got in the way of it being great was the strange religious messages in it. Melissa Joan Hart the actor that portrayed Sabrina recently came out as a Republican. She comes from a big family that has certain values. To be short it was her family that got her this job. She is a good actress, but when 1 person is in total control of a creative endeavor it's never good. It's good to have different inputs and points of view. Even artists want critique. In the show there were messages of Sabrina 'finding a man' and so on. Should not her future (career) be the main focus of her life? And if she decides to 'find a man' be some side thing? I mean really? It was very backwards thinking. This was on abc when it was first on the air. But on the later seasons it went to the WB which is now called the CW. The WB was a more forward thinking station. Abc was all about 'family values' translation 'Christian values'. So when the show went to the WB they actually CONTRADICTED things that were said in earlier seasons on the abc channel.Yeah they also made more inappropriate jokes on the WB seasons. Well she went to college, what do you really expect? But still it was quite a deviation. You can tell that she fought to keep her families conservative values. In one scene she bizarrely asked her college friends "Isn't god great" what? Well that was random. Sabrina your blatant agenda is showing! It was so extreme it almost seemed like some kind of compromise she struck with the WB. She would date other men, say more dirty stuff, wear low cut shirts but she can have a strange discussion about god for some seconds. It was VERY shoehorned in there. I mean on abc she had a family, it would not have been out of place for her to for example 'say grace' at dinner time. But in college ppl have different beliefs and to do that would be out of place on the WB station. The WB was still vapid and not perfect, I mean just look at the shallow CW shows on air now! And at the time Charmed with their low cut tops and jokes about sex. BUT it was more forward thinking than abc. Is all I'm getting at.Also if you notice Sabrina had two aunts Zelda (the smart scientific one) and Hilda (the dumb emotional/compulsive one). If you have ever watched the show you always see Zelda failing and Hilda winning. Every wonder why? That's because religion HATES science, since it disapproves religion. So they ALWAYS depict smart people in a negative light. What ever 'scheme' Zelda cooked up always blew up in her face like trying to solve world hunger. How dare she help..oh I mean 'play god' according to religious nuts! I've talked to these crazy religious people they say that we should not even TRY to help save lives, 'god' decides what will happen. Wow. Meanwhile Hilda was always the one with the last laugh. So they rewarded non-threatening women that were stupid. Wow. Even Harvey would roll his eyes at Sabrina when she said something intelligent. Way to undermine women. Also just take a look at how Zelda ended up...as a candle! Ultimate punishment. And Hilda was just fine. Wow.Also the school science teacher was depicted as a loser. Mr. Pool. He was such a popular character. People keep asking WHY he was in so few episodes. Now you know why they hate SMART PEOPLE! Also the reason they got rid of Jenny, she was ONLY in the first season. She was basically a hippie, another person who wanted to change the world. We all know that Republicans HATE hippies. She was shown in her last appearance talking to the principal and he basically telling her "you have no power to change the cafeteria lunches" and so on after she won to be class president or whatever. Wow. They 'shut up' the self-confident world changing hippie and got Valerie instead. An insecure, self-loathing, boy obsessed female. Wow. Conservatives sure do love their women stupid, enslaved, pregnant, & barefoot in the kitchen! Shows what they value. Also why did they randomly get rid of Libby. Oh right since conservatives don't care for the downtrodden. And actually finding a way to solve the 'little people's' problems. Or even admitting ppl have them! So poof they just got rid of her. How convenient. You know kids get bullied all throughout school.... Also why did they get rid of Milo in the final season? Sabrina does have a bad habit of abandoning people, *gasp* just like republicans! He was described as being Jewish. Oh and also she dated a Muslim, Josh. So she's totally not racist she has 'a black friend' Dreama. Who also conveniently disappeared! She ditched her Jewish roommate, her Muslim boyfriend, and her black friend. Yeah TOTALLY not discriminatory! She JUST HAPPENED to move in to her aunts house with her two white Christian friends that 'just love god'.
View Moreeven though a lot of years have passed. but Sabrina the Teenage Witch still remains in people lives.the story of a 16 year old girl named Sabrina Spellman and the dramatic change of her life when she finds out she is a witch. with the help of her Aunts (Heilda and Zelda Spellman) and the 'family cat' Salam Saberhagen she manages to survive school life.another aspect of the story is the romance of Sabrina and her high school crush/boyfriend Harvey Kinkle despite the fact she is a witch and he is a mortal. However, in season 5 Sabrina started to lose it's touch when Sabrina starts John Adams college and when Harvey breaks up with Sabrina because he found out she was a witch. As a conclusion,i think that Sabrina made my childhood and that it should make a come back.
