The film may be flawed, but its message is not.
Amazing worth wacthing. So good. Biased but well made with many good points.
View MoreOK I'm just going to be honest right now. I think the spin off was really a good idea, to put off a ending to the other 2 famous well known shows, Victourous and Icarly. But here is my whole point..The Plots: After watching the pilot, I felt like that this show wasn't going to have its chance of being the main spotlight in Nick.. these plots are really confusing and overall just plain out boring. For one thing, there was this episode where Sam and Cat had to 'babysit' this character named Goomer (btw what kind of name is that?)and then it all goes wrong. OK from that episode right that, what kind of plot is that. I don't see how they writers thought that plot could be anymore realistic then that. The fact that 2 17 year old girls 'babysitting' a grown man is just confusing and not to mention creepy. Another thing too, if you would watch all the episodes (which was only 35 episodes I think) The whole plot of the spin off isn't if you re watch them and think about isn't really babysitting.. Sam and Cat are really just on some crazy and confusing stuff that I guess that the writers would see it as being 'teenage life' or something like that. I really don't see how the plots in each episode can be more explained. I mean seriously, I don't see this being entertaining no offensive. Characters: OK let me be honest here these characters are really poorly written and are designed. Cat who was on Victourous, had the most remember role of all. Yes she was acting like the 'dumb girl' but I feel like that it was really cute. Ariana Grande did a good job playing her actor. Sam was really the one who really got Icarly set up. She had her own personality that made her likable. But let me ask, how did the writers think that Sam and Cat could ever be friends. They don't have anything and common and also I felt like that when they were both added as friends and roommates, it just messed up there who background's in their own shows. Next we have this kid named Dice (if that wasn't a better name,) is a 12 year old kid that just hangs out with them. But ooh here is a twist. This 12 year old is somehow a 'manager' to the boxer Goomer. OK that is just unrealistic and second of all how can a 12 year old 'manage' a grown man. That is just creepy how he follows him around and the reason why he is Goomer's 'manager' (this was mentioned in one episode) was because he could get more money. I don't see how the writers didn't that wasn't unrealistic. Because obvious it is. Then we have Cat's grandmother that is Nona. Now to be honest with you guys she isn't really that type of character that should be on this should. With all these characters I have mentioned. These people are just suddenly a group now. How 'REALITSC' THAT IS Now not only are the plots and the characters confusing, but their background stories. If you ask me I feel like that they only way to really end the 2 shows was to maybe to a conclusion of what happened to all of them and where there future would be like.. But I guess not but I have questions First of all why did Sam go to L.A? Why did Nona leave Cat? how is Cat and Sam able to pay all the bills, put food in the house, and have a clean house like that without working or earning money somehow. Unless its not mentioned that Nona gives Cat the money to fix the house and put food in it. It just seems like the show is really unrealistic. And why is Cat suddenly more STUIPD then she was on her own show? She is even more dumber then Gibby. And become I'm tired of writing this, Nick really needs to work on something new. Nick really needs to stop making all these shows that is unoriginal or already with the idea and plot used. It just seems like Nick is on there last knees being the popular show apart from Cartoon Network and Disney.
View MoreCat (Ariana Grande) was very entertaining, quirky and admirable! She turns a mediocre show into a great show, despite the under par performances of her co-star, Jennette McCurdy. Jennette McCurdy may devour a rather large male genitalia. In my opinion, her acting and attitude can use much needed revitalisation. My apologies for the bias statements, however, I very much dislike Miss McCurdy.Goomer (Zoran Korach) provided quite excellent humour due to his stupidity and lack of thinking. Dice (Cameron Ocasio) was a favourable personality and put in decent performances throughout the series.Nona (Maree Cheatham) was an unnecessary character and did not have a true purpose in the show.Overall, the show was excellent solely due to the heroics of Ariana Grande. I give the show 10 out of 10 stars.
View MoreI have not seen someone this funny (especially a young adult) in a very long time. I tuned in less than a month ago to see what Jennette McCurdy was up to and Ariana Grande's character totally shocked me. I had no idea what she was doing. At first I thought she was mentally-challenged then I read her say that she was playing dumb. She would stare into space and hesitate and wave her arms in the air and talk with an inflection that reminded me so much of Emo Phillips, the comedian (I could never understand him and I could not tolerate his inflection) or even Pee-Wee Herman to an extent. Ariana is so unique for her age and she's quick and an extremely good actor and comic. She is going to be huge at whatever she puts her mind to. (She is a better actor than any of the "Friends" actors were during their first two seasons.) I would give this series a "10" but I think the writing and themes can be poor. Producer Dan Schneider has a pretty warped sense of humor. Some of the stories and lines give bad examples to kids, imo: Sam and Cat are very materialistic, Sam's character basically hates people (eg. that part shocked me), and some of the other older characters seem very shallow. Plus, these characters do not need to be making butt jokes. (It's totally inappropriate for young kids.) But some of the stories, lines and sight gags are extremely funny! The acting and laughs sold me after the 3rd episode that I watched. This series had "success" written all over it due to Jennette and Ariana. (I would have replaced the writers if the series went on to a second season. I'm an adult male and I'll watch some of these adolescent shows for a change of pace just to see what they're up to. Lord knows Hollywood has been striking out with adult TV sitcoms and reality shows.) I can't believe that they couldn't bring Jennette and Ariana back together for more Sam and Cat!
View MoreFirst of all the overrated, ugly, over paid Ariana Grande plays a stale character with an annoying voice witch makes me want to stab my ears and if that wasn't bad enough she is ONE OF THE WORST ACTORS in Nick history. Then there's the unfunny try hard Jennette Mcurdy who is a terrible character for a BABY show because shes a criminal. Also baby sitting? The only people they are fit to baby sit are the moronic babies who enjoy this garbage. Sam has a criminal record and Cat is mentally unstable(and a terrible actor). And this show is not funny in the least one of the characters will say something stupid like "derp, i bought a meatball!!!!" And the recorded laughter will play as if anyone with a SINGLE FUNCTIONING BRAIN CELL would laugh. Dan Schneider just give up on this crap and make a good show like Drake and Josh which wasn't targeted towards 5 year old simpleton morons. Also how could ANYONE make a living of baby sitting a couple of terrible child actors?
