Rules for the competition listed somewhere. In season 1 and season 2, the rules for the season were said in the beginning, however with season 3, 4 & 5 rules were not stated. Thankfully, with season 6 they returned to saying the rules in the beginning of the season. Season 6 intro I felt it was missing the effect of previous scrapyard wars seasons. Evidence from the "failed" "Tech Showdown" series and Scrapyard Wars season 4 in particular, Linus is bad at customization, the aesthetics and brilliant at finding great deals for hardware, while Luke is brilliant at the customizing and not so good at finding great tech deals. Ending / Conclusion - Wished the style/format from season 1, 2 & 3 was kept (Season 4 was average). It contained the constant sharing their thoughts hence why I hated the ending for season 5. Wished the specifications of the computer the contestant piece together were shown on screen like in season 1 & 3 However, the one question I ask is why don't the contestants return to previous locations and / or contacts to source parts. I thought that after season 3, contestants would use free geek and "back alley guy"
