Good movie, but best of all time? Hardly . . .

    Brilliant and touching

There's no way I can possibly love it entirely but I just think its ridiculously bad, but enjoyable at the same time.

Although I seem to have had higher expectations than I thought, the movie is super entertaining.

I highly enjoy this show, and unfortunately people like In_Correct miss the point of the cartoon. It does not fall along the lines of Ren & Stimpy, The Oblongs, or even CatDog.I'd compare it more to Ed, Edd, and Eddy, as far as the intent of the humor, which is far more satirical and slap-stick comedy than simple gross-out humor. Is it for every kid? No, it's not. It can have some crude/gross humor, but not as much as another reviewer has stated. If you watch the Qubo channel, and you fear that your child may watch Spliced!, then you have far greater issues to be worrying about since your child should probably be in bed by the time this show airs (which is the entire point). If you're not sure if it's OK for them to watch such a show on a station in your region/country, check it out by yourself before you let them watch. It is usually on early, and/or at a reasonable time that would be easy to avoid if you find the content inappropriate.I find it mighty interesting that a previous user states that they consider the production quality and "other things" in an animated program, and they go on to praise the Filmation cartoons, cartoons which were deliberately produced with fewer frames and was always looking for a way to re-use stock footage. Such a thing made the animation jerky at times, and simplified the movements and actions that they were able to use in the cartoons. If you want 'high quality animated programs' from an older era, go watch some of the old Looney Tunes episodes. The Filmation shows are generally kid friendly, and strive to teach various lessons throughout each episode, but they were cheaply animated and the voice acting could be very questionable at times. They were not very 'high quality' animations for their time, but did their best to remain a competitor within the industry. The animation designs for Spliced! are simple, but are bright, crisp, and entertaining to watch. In all, a show that is enjoyable for both kids and adults, and not nearly as bad as what a previous user tried to imply.

I was pleasantly surprised by this cartoon when I flipped by it a few months ago on Teletoon, it actually makes up for the fact that they stopped showing Flapjack. The story lines seem to go nowhere and rely on sight gags and comedic timing to keep the audience's attention. The two main characters Entree and Peri have a striking resemblance to Ren and Stimpy along with similar (though less adult) humour. It is fast paced and random and exactly what a kid show should be. Entree also has a lot of similarities to Spanky Ham from Drawn Together (I actually thought it was the same voice actor)which makes him even more entertaining to watch.I like its on-the-fly humour and hope the show continues.
