    Purely Joyful Movie!

    Absolutely the worst movie.

In truth, there is barely enough story here to make a film.

There's no way I can possibly love it entirely but I just think its ridiculously bad, but enjoyable at the same time.

Here's the thing, insulting a fan made project is like telling a parent that their kid's painting on the fridge is crap.. The effects are very good but the acting... oh the acting !!! It is awful. I tried so hard to get into this. I like the Star Trek, old school stuff but this is not good.. The acting destroys any good that the effects bring. I am sorry, you get 10/10 for effort but it just isn't supposed to be.. Sorry. I would like to thank you for trying but please do not try anymore. I would like to see this picked up and redone, the idea is sound. Would love to know how this is funded, there must be some rich Trekkies out there.

The first episode I caught of this (and I am a long time fan on the Original Series) was Enemy:Starfleet. I wish I could put my finger on it but Mr Cawley and his colleagues have nailed it after a couple of early practices...What I think is a shame is that people are saying such things as 'corny' or 'silly story lines' - what they fail to notice is how that applied to the original series as much as this. This is a not for Profit Fan series and really they need to be commended for how far they have come. i congratulate James Cawley and his team for an exciting a fun series that perfectly captures the look and feel of the original. Even down to the lesson of the week moments...i especially like Bones and also Cawley's 'Shatner'. Watch 'The Child' or 'Enemy:Starfleet' to see what I mean.Well done guys - I cannot tell you how much enjoyment you have brought me this week as I have watched 6 episodes and wait expectantly for the ones in post production now. Awesome.

This show is the reason I watched Star Trek in the first place. It definitely has its problems, but it has more good points than bad. The stories themselves are spot on, and "World enough and time" is one of the best written Trek episodes to date. The acting does seem to improve over time, but still, most of these people are doing a better job than many professional actors. The show also has a sincerity to it that has been missing from all of the other post-Roddenberry (post Next Generation) Treks. I hope they are able to continue, and that this project will at least lead to other money-making opportunities for them in the future. I am definitely looking forward to Blood & Fire and would recommend New Voyages to any Trek fan who's become jaded by the giant money-making soulless machine that Star Trek has become. It just might make you remember why Star Trek inspired you in the first place.

Do you dislike Star Trek and all the fond memories we all have of it. One Why would you make such a poor copy of one of the most beloved shows in the world. Two are you making fun of Star Trek, you must be this show has to be a joke. Three If you think you are making a Real Star Trek show you are SO wrong Mr. Cawley or perhaps you need meds you seem to think you are Kirk, hate to tell you buddy but William Shatner is Kirk Mr. Cawley you are no Shatner and hence no Kirk at all. Who the heck wrote all three of your silly make no sense story's, or was the writer drunk or something. And your casting is poor to say the least. However the only good actors were the guys that played Scotty and Checov in your Come what May.
