I gave this film a 9 out of 10, because it was exactly what I expected it to be.

It's the kind of movie you'll want to see a second time with someone who hasn't seen it yet, to remember what it was like to watch it for the first time.

The movie turns out to be a little better than the average. Starting from a romantic formula often seen in the cinema, it ends in the most predictable (and somewhat bland) way.

Let me be very fair here, this is not the best movie in my opinion. But, this movie is fun, it has purpose and is very enjoyable to watch.

Don't use your brain while watching this and you will give it a 10 Use your brain and it will come down to 5 , too many plot holes just makes me mad

Have you noticed lately that Star Trek (here I am talking about Discovery) cannot tell a story even when provided the time of one whole season. Meanwhile, ever since Star Wars ended up at Disney, they always want to tell variations on the same story. I just finished watching the last episode of season 3 of The Expanse then thought to myself "that production company knows how to tell a story". Thank you to Alcon. Thank you to SyFy in the US. Thank you to Space in Canada. p.s. As one reviewer has already mentioned, the political intrigue is very reminiscent of Babylon 5

I have been watching The Expanse since season one and have love it. Finally there was science fiction series that felt like it wasn't created on a shoe-string budget. The special effects seemed first rate, but more than that, the writing was top notch. Each seasoned got better and better as the characters were developed and the story-line became more mature.That being, season 3 left me saying WOW!!!! From the first episode to the last I was super hooked. I was on the edge of my seat the entire time. A must see.

Being a sci-fi fan is a tough break because there are so few really good sci-fi films and even less TV shows. Alien set the bar back in the day and countless have tried and failed to capture a story of humans venturing into space. The Expanse is space as it WILL be before we go into deep space. It creates a really believable future scenario for humans, but it goes beyond that.. The different factions, the space stations, the accents on language, the ships the gravity issues, the water even the air are a factor. But all the real feel aside, the story is so gripping and twisting and turning that you can't stop watching.The quality of the acting and directing feels like one endless long sci fi thing of beauty and the characters are all interesting.. nobody feels out of place - everything about this show just works. Watch it feel good about sci-fi again
