Redundant and unnecessary.

In truth, there is barely enough story here to make a film.

This film is so real. It treats its characters with so much care and sensitivity.

It really made me laugh, but for some moments I was tearing up because I could relate so much.

Just finished watching season one. I like it but then the set up irks me. Its not clear how the original four are selected but they are the starting benchmark as to who the judges believe is worthy of a recording deal, then subsequent singers hopes the judges thinks they are good enough or better than those who are seated so that they can do a sing off for the live audience to select which takes the seat. Constructive feed back started picking up towards the finale but it doesnt hold much water because most contestants dont survive long enough to apply it as the seat holders changed weekly. It isnt as if the finalist survived several rounds of challengers to be deemed the best or winner. What irks me the most was they kept saying that because they were on week 3 or 4 it gets harder but how? They dont define the standards for both that week's newbies n the seat holders from the previous week. Does it mean that previous winners are at a lower expectation than their upcoming challengers?

I actually really hate shows like the Voice, Got Talent etc. They're all so fake and promote mediocrity... This is the only show of that genre that made me binge the entire first season because I actually cared for the contestants. I wasn't a big fan of the judges in the first place but they grew on me. I don't know what everyone is talking about but Diddy is keeping it real! This show doesn't tolerate mediocre singer like the other shows and that's why I love it. Even DJ Khaled keeps it real lol They know when someone doesn't have it and when someone does. The performances gives me goosebumps most of the time, and you can tell the contestants are real artists and more than just great singers. Even Fergie keeps it real lol Zhavia, Tim, Rell, Saeed, Vincint, Candie, Evie all really left a mark on me! They're not just one-time performers, they're the kind that you want to see more and that doesn't happen often. You see that kind of talent in other shows like once every season. This one had 7 lol I just feel this show is really genuine and I'm honestly shocked seeing all the bad reviews and I honestly hope they don't cancel it!!! Some people find the trashtalk, the judges' bias and dialogues between each other unprofessional but no, I think they're just keeping it genuine and I find that refreshing and that's its charm. Why do people want another cookie-cutter show??? It's so stupid to me. Like a bunch of sheep PLEASE KEEP THIS SHOW!! I almost think some people are paid to bash this show, but please keep it going, at least for a few more seasons!!

It's really a shame that these fantastic performers are submitted to the kind of trash low class crappy low class talk that these judges are puking out ! And furthermore I'm really surprised her at Meghan Trainor, I cannot believe she's part of this crap! It's unfortunate that shows like this air at all ! it's a shame I'm sorry for the performers who are most of all very talented ! I'm out!

This show is incredible if you understand music. The talent they bring every week is above any other show. Diddy and Khaled are hysterical together and Meagan is adorable. The judges keep it real and dont sugar coat it to appease their fans.
