As Good As It Gets

This is a small, humorous movie in some ways, but it has a huge heart. What a nice experience.

Seems they have borrowed Sharpe's sword (Ep 1)... A 1796 Heavy Cavaly Trooper sword carried by a naval bod is marginally offensive. Good show though!

I'm into episode 3 series 1 and so far they have all been excellent.Good and original plot, good acting, good sound recording and the actors annunciate so you can hear and understand them. Unlike some of the mumbling we get so often. The camera work, editing and directing is among the best. All in all a quality production from all the people involved.

The trick is to get through the first episode, which I thought was very slow. After that, the acting gets much better, most likely because the cast gets better. You will start to appreciate the quality of the performances as the story gets going. If you are a literary fanatic, you will enjoy seeing characters that you know and appreciate. I'll skip the spoilers, you have to watch for yourself.
